For All Jonathan's Shortcomings, Buhari Is Not A Replacement — Peter Obi (2015) by givedemwotowoto(op): 7:22pm On Apr 18
Peter Obi warned Nigerians against electing President Buhari as a replacement for Goodluck Jonathan in 2015

For all of Jonathan's shortcomings, Buhari is not a replacement for Jonathan — Peter Obi ( 2nd March, 2015).

This was the stand of all well-meaning Nigerians in 2015. Yes, we saw Jonathan's shortcomings but Jonathan was far better than Buhari. That was and is still the argument today.

Tinubu is not doing well and it's known to even Tinubu's supporters and the issue before the ADC is not about who can win the primary election but who will do better than Tinubu.

The truth is, Igbos are always right with their choices as regards electing a good leader, especially, at National Level. They warned us against Buhari and we paid for it. They warned us against Tinubu, see where we are today

I agree with you on this....

They wholeheartedly voted for Obasanjo, Yar'Adua and Jonathan.
Average Igbo man despise failure.
Simple reason I respect the hardworking Igbos.

Many of them in the North here are always working hard doing business. They open shops as early as 6am while others gossip and envy instead to emulate and learn.

Fact. Here in the north, let me not mention my state. It's only igbos that operate on sundays while others go to bar and joints to drink to stupor. grin grin

He was absolutely right. Meanwhile Tinubu the disaster promax protegee of the same Buhari is today still boldly reaffirming their share umbilical cord as disasters Nigeria never deserved.

Prophecy come true. Just as they were warned pre 2023 and are still being warned now but they keep keeping deaf ears. After Tinubu 2027 that's if he succeeds in winning, it will take 200 years for Nigeria to recover.

Meanwhile, I see obi as genuine contrary to few members on here, just few members. All his statements both past and present are aligning, now just look at the prophecy here back in 2015. The question should be, would he match performance with what he usually say ?

Sadly, most of us didn't realize it at the time.
