John 3:16 makes a clear, binary claim: the outcome is either eternal life or perishing. Eternal life is tied to resurrection through belief in Christ. The alternative is not ongoing conscious torment, but destruction.

“For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world, that He gave His one and only Son, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him as Savior shall not perish, but have eternal life.” (AMP)

These are presented as the words of Jesus. The contrast is direct: life versus perishing. There is no explicit statement here about perpetual torment. The text frames rejection of Christ not as eternal suffering, but as loss of life itself.

If the claim is that people will either go to heaven or be tortured forever, then the burden is to show where Jesus clearly teaches that outcome. Without that, the plain reading of John 3:16 supports a different conclusion: belief leads to life; refusal results in destruction.

Few people will go to heaven.
Majority of righteous humans will live on the earth.

Both. The created universe of matter and space cannot survive without the altruistic or malevolent or positive and the negative.

We or Observers are the ones who have all the interpretations and semantic:

Good, Bad, beautiful, ugly, tall, short.

But everything simply is 'ISing' without bias. The taster of the pudding is who now says something is negative or positive.
