In continuation of my consultations with party party Leaders, especially GAC members, yesterday I visited the Speaker of the Lagos state house of Assembly Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa and Elderstateman Dr. Abayomi Finih, also a Member of the GAC.

Speaker Obasa is a grassroots political mobilizer whose relevance and buy-in can’t be over emphasised as we warm up for our party primaries.

Dr. Finih on the other hand, offered valuable elderly admonitions money can’t buy, owing to his decades of experience in politics.

He might be given something to hold bodi like Chief of Staff, Deputy governor or House of Reps seat

Consulting with Obasa, who is mentioned among those eyeing the governorship seat. If he fails, will he returned to a fractured PDP, or LP, as the ADC ticket very likely will be won by GVR.

Mr Obasa is positioning himself as a very strong man. If I were a betting man, I'd wager he'll be next godfather of Lagos politics when Mr Tinubu retires.

Not really. He is just a political prostitute who doesn't care to jump from party to party to achieve his dream. It is very glaring that if he is not nominated or elected as the APC's candidate for Lagos State governor in the upcoming election, he may consider moving to the ADC or returning to the PDP.

Jandor can't deputize Hamzat because they are both Muslims. CAN will not allow that. They will blow it up like they did the Muslim-Muslim presidential ticket.
If Ambode gets it, then Jando will have a good chance. I prefer Ambode, but it seems that Hamzat is the favorite.
I also agree with you that Obi is a God-sent gift that will give again in 2027.

All these anywhere belly face politicians na them full Nigeria. All of the politicians for that country na the same them be. From Tinubu to Atiku to Obi

One amusing aspect of politics is that people do all this despite knowing they haven't a chance.

The most unserious politician in Lagos. You left for PDP and came back after you were roundly beaten, and you expect to get the ticket ahead of those who remained in the party through thick and thin? You must be a joker! You better go and negotiate Deputy Governor, that's if Seyi is no longer in the calculation.
