Atheist Artemis II commander Converts To Christianity After Trip To Moon

The Artemis II commander, Reid Wiseman, who was said to be a self-confessed atheist, said after returning from his trip to the moon, despite not being a religious person, he had no other avenue to express what they had seen and experienced in space, so he asked for the Navy chaplain to visit them, and despite never seeing the man before, when the man came and he saw the cross on his collar, he broke down and wept:

I recently said that the best proof of the Creator existence is His creation.

This atheist turned believer after returning from the moon fly by, has just proven and confirmed that saying as true.

It only took for him to see the magnificence of the creation, to realize that it couldn't have possibly come into existence without a Creator.

I also remember when Victor Glover, the Artemis II pilot, had finished preaching on the space craft, this same man, Reid Wiseman, who was on the far right, had reached out his hands to him in acknowledgment of what he just said, therefore not really surprised that he later acknowledged it himself, and started weeping in adoration of the Creator, after seeing a Christian cross, because he was already on his way to the cross.

Cross was a tool used by the Romans to torture criminals, the same cross is now seen as the religion symbol of some people.

The Romans crucified criminals on the cross and it later became a symbol of torture, pains and humiliation. Nothing changed from that perspective except that Jesus Christ of Nazareth was also crucified on the cross, humiliated and buried thereafter. He rose again from the dead.

Christianity identifies with the cross because of Jesus of Nazareth. It didn't remove the suffering associated with the cross. They identify with the cross as the painful object Jesus died on to save the world from sin.

Atheists and skeptics also know the cross is a symbol of pain and suffering. They also repeat the clause " to carry one's cross" after Jesus said everyone needs to carry their cross....

Yes. Because Jesus of Nazareth was crucified on the cross of Calvary. This is why Christianity identifies with the cross of Jesus. Not that the cross is a symbol of pleasure or satisfaction.
