Or like 7 of us contribute money buy this car, we fit dey share am, 1 person per day cry cry

I want this car.

Chevy BOLT men

Even a 2017 model still has maaaad range (231 miles / 371 km).

The gains would be insane.
Lolz... Just be saving small small. In like 3yrs u should be able to afford it without breaking the bank.
If u have a car already just be dropping 60k weekly were u can't reach it, as if u are doing rentals.

Bolt without their campaigns sometimes is such a struggle.

I feel those campaigns are even our money sef - Like 9 rides for 9k - I feel that's part of the high commission we pay to Bolt that they decide to give back a few times a month, with high requirements. I still remember the one of 11k for 13 rides. I been wan faint that day.

Without those campaigns, it's a struggle for me on the island with all these N2k trips. I even saw one today for N1.8k, I was shocked. Though it was a short trip, but still man, chai.

Bought 18k fuel today and could barely gross 36k

Bought 12k fuel yesterday and in trying to gross 24k, my fuel finished, lol. Though I did run some personal errands, but still. Thank God i was near a filling station when the car shut down.

No surge recently on the island, what gives? Guess too many cars here, awon lagride, bolt, uber, cabzero...

Sometimes you get generous tippers that make your day worth it. Like this Angel guy that paid 15k to wait for a little bit. Excellent income while car is shutdown and petrol consumption is zero.

With no tipping, no campaigns, meeen!

Bolt needs to increase prices slightly men and drop their commission.

But it seems they will never, ever, ever drop that commission.

I was just looking at my monthly statement on Bolt and noticing how much I pay in commission. Like you'd see 300k and I know fuel would probably have been like 150k, so net for me would be like 150k, yet YOU'D SEE LIKE 80K BOLT COMMISSION, CHAI.

I feel like a slave sometimes, so I get 150k with all the suffering and they get 80k for doing almost nothinghuh WTF?
That's it o,
But if they give u back part of it as Bonus it's fair enough.
The problem is still that d fares are low.
On no account should someone drive to Riders destination pick up on AC and drop Rider even if it's two houses away the minimum fare should be 3k. No matter how short.
10km ride shouldn't be less than 5k Net ,
20km 10k
30km 30k and so on.
I don't really bother about how much they take provided what I make is good.
Consider that they also put back a large chunk of their earnings in marketing and bonus to Riders too. Many riders really will not be able to afford ehailing, if it is to be standardly priced. Example is when there is surge, there are fewer meaningful trips.
I know with Bolt and Uber, Fares would have be going up considerably, but Indrive is spoiling the market.

Some advise bro, stop chasing promos and if possible, stop working for Bolt. Buying fuel at this current price to do bolt is counter productive.

Use this strategy instead, buy 15k fuel and play the patient game on indrive. Only go on trips that you are making a killing from. Stay in busy places that is not so easy for drivers to navigate 3km for pick up. These are places you can get really high prices for very short distance on indrive. With other apps, there’s a price cap but on indrive, there’s not. For example, you can do 1,800 per km for short trip in Ajao estate. In fact, you if are there during hotel check out time, you will understand better.

I once carried a lady for 950 meters for 3500. In no app will that be possible except indrive.

You provide all running cost in the business and you should move at your own price.
u have a point but after u leave that zone do u drive back or be looking for another dead zone again? Thats not business mehn.
U will find those lucky trips ones in a while but it's not sustainable except u just drive for fun and not for any monetary target.
I have used Indrive and it's not compatible with me and my earnings, I have challenged anybody using Indrive to show me Profit (after fuel and commission of 50k daily)
Pope and Glithronix are grandfather's in Indrive but they no fit. But babies in Bolt or a combination of both Apps can do this without stress.

No serious high earner on Indrive, na prayer and fasting u go dey do daily to get trips and meet your target. Some days will be good but some days will be very very bad. It's not like that on Bolt, everyday is a good day, provided u can put in d hours

Areas like Yaba, Shomolu, Ajao, Bariga etc are not dead zones. Short trips in this areas pay better on indrive.

No one can make 50k driving on any platform now. Let’s be realistic, your gross earning on a trip on bolt is a little less than what an average negotiator gets on indrive. Currently, uber consistently offers me less than what I will get on a trip if I did it on indrive. Indrive is only bad in areas where there are too many drivers.

Go to those areas I mentioned and analyse the prices you see carefully.

Getting a request on Indrive with good pay is possible in the places you mentioned, simply because it always surges on Bolt in those areas.

So, instead of a rider to pay 6000 on Bolt, they would pay 5600 on Indrive. The Indrive driver makes more money because of lower commission.

So, at the end of the day, Bolt determines whether you'll get a better price on Indrive. Go to Ikeja and see the ridiculous price people are willing to take on Indrive to come to places like Shomolu, Yaba, Surulere.

I have a fleet, and I still actively drive.
Nothing u will tell me. Yaba is d worst place to be on Indrive. Everybody uses Indrive in Yaba, u hardly get bolt trips if u enter yaba. Like I said asides d few good trips that can pop up, d majority of trips on Indrive are trash. Tell me how often u get more than 10k trip.
Maybe Bariga, yes, because that's a dead zone, nobody wants to drive long distance to pickup, enter traffic and bad roads so they may offer higher price sometimes.

Saying nobody earns 50k net daily is a very very naive statement to make. What will u give me if I show u my earnings for the last three weeks? I am not talking about other people who work more than me o.

Hybrid is very good too, just that the cars are limited. The battery pack replacement is worth the fuel price savings. Especially now that fuel price is high. Just that there are other electrical problems like AC, ABS etc that can't be easily repaired.
But if u are lucky to get a grade tokunbo hybrid car u will really really enjoy it.

No not really. Electric car is still new technology, in years to come the tokunbo of it will be cheaper. 3yrs ago, u will not see any used electric car for $5k dollars.

Also d ones being produced now have better optimization than d earlier produced ones.
So when buying in 3yrs-5yrs time, u will be getting the better upgrades and more efficient ones. U will see Teslas for $3-5k mark my words

So if u don't have Bolt, u will be seeing high prices on Indrive and be thinking u are enjoying while the Bolt user is getting better pay.
Indrive is never better in driver-high-density areas. On d flip side, even if u are in a driver scarce area, d few drivers want to leave d dry zone fast fast so ones a trip comes up and u are bidding highest, d next driver is willing to carry it like that and leave sharp sharp back to civilization. So that high price hack works but it is rare and u go wait tire. Depending on it will give u maybe 5 or 6 trips in a day. And u go home with 30k max

Yes u have a point but how sustainable is dat? Me I take island trips from d mainland like say ago palace way which is about 27 to 35k from about 13k. This is pretty small but I don't kus I no once I enter island I will see better trips and better road network... From lekki phase one to orchid road I always get trips for 6k if e no reach I no go go. And this works for me. From ikota to lekki phase 1 7k . E dey always work.. just enter lekki county for evening during d weekend where most of dose babes dey go dinner or events for v.i u must see better trip. So dats how I do mine. Island to mainland trip van b very annoying ... But with patience u will see something better..

Give it to Pearl. He can achieve that with Bolt anytime, twice on a Monday. We've receipts. Motivation was once a thing here untill it was adjudged as showing off and people recoil. For a fact, netting 50k on Bolt for Him is piece of cake no matter how lazy, this is just to prove to anyone that needs it that 50k on Bolt is doable. Very doable with less stress nonetheless. But I don't know about using fuel to achieve it tho.

Well I stopped posting dashboard to encourage others cos a lot of people were bitter about it. Not that I care about them but I feel outside eyes preying on this platform may use those figures to harm d business. If u belong to D telegram or WhatsApp groups I am 100% sure u will get this questions answered.
