Tabithatim:Why don’t they cite how many millions of jobs Tinubu has created in comparison with his 50 million jobs promised in 2023? What of Mbah? How many teachers and other workers has he employed? Has he employed up to 19,500 teachers or more? This is the number of teachers employed by Makinde in five years. |

We saw how former U.S. President Joe Biden chose to step away from the presidential race when his degenerative health made it clear he could no longer offer his country his best. That withdrawal of personal ambition was a rare and luminous act. It was a demonstration that the collective good must outweigh personal desire, and that no one man's legacy is worth the cost of poor governance. Here in Nigeria, our inept Tinubu whose age and health records remain shrouded in mystery is refusing to take a bow. A man visibly worn and tired, yet clinging to the stage. A man summoned to address the electorate who, upon mounting the podium, proceeded to lick the microphone in what could only be described as a bizarre attempt to test whether it was working. A man whose public addresses are routinely inaudible and indiscernible and who, since forcing his way into office, has refused to grant live press interviews because he knows the record of his stewardship cannot survive interrogation. I listen to his ego-driven, uninspiring speeches and wonder how any clear-eyed Nigerian can support this man's continued self-deception and his conviction that he still possesses what it takes to govern a nation of over 200 million people. Like former President Buhari, who had no faith in Nigeria's health system and routinely flew to Britain for treatment of an undisclosed ailment, Tinubu is treading the same path while our health sector is starved of funding and left to stumble along on whatever meagre allocation survives the politics of the budget. I believe those supporting Tinubu are not doing so out of patriotism. Many are invested in the corrupt status quo, a system deliberately designed to allow criminal networks to thrive while hardworking Nigerians break their backs paying predatory taxes that never return to them as infrastructure, opportunity, or dignity. The taxes flow upward, funding the luxury of a ruling class that has made an art of public theft as we currently witness. We cannot continue to reinforce failure by pretending that Nigeria is fine. We must rise collectively, at the polls and reject Tinubu and his lieutenants before the cost of their misrule becomes irreversible.

This is Obi's bailiwick, though the APC will not win here, but the 2027 results will be different and far better than those of 2023. |

What this ibo people supporting Tinubu don’t know is that, once he win his re election, power is going back to north after 2031, so what will be their gain, rather, they fighting for their own pocket, not because of their people. Yoruba already ruled, even south south has ruled. But then, they never rule even for a year. What a b@d leaders they have. |

princeade86:So you want an igbo president by all means, now your intentions are as clear as day......there is nothing wrong with having an igbo president but I like you to note that the yoruba president didn't just throw himself up for the office,it was decades of fortuitous planning and bridge building, perseverance and patience,he even had to bring a northerner to set the path for him,he paid his dues......obi on the other hand hasn't done that much,he is a potential president but his time isn't now byvthe time the presidency comes back south by 2039 yorubas won't be eligible and its gonna be between you guys and SS. |

princeade86:Politics is a long time game. You've gotta have a vision that goes beyond at least 4 electioneering periods. If an Igbo man for example becomes Vice under a northerne it means you are closer than before. Then you work for more. Contesting every election without strategy is why Atiku will be contesting at 80 years old or even beyond. It takes planning, strategy, sacrifices. A story was on front page last week about how Tinubu in 1992 step down for Okadigbo to become senate president. He could have contested under ACN since 2007. Instead he gave the ACN platform to Atiku, Nuhu Ribadu. Sponsored people into senate and HOR but he didn't contest any election after 2003. Before again sacrificing his ambition for Buhari. It's a long term game. Don't hate him, learn from him. |

Tinubu may not get outright win in all the SE states but surely, he will get more than 25% required votes in all the SE states unlike last time out. Who wan die, is free to do the needful |
