Nigerian is really mess up. I went to job hunting today. More than 20 people came for the same job.. People in their late 40 and 50 came Expectation was high and after the interview. Omo when the salary was disclosed. Many people left immeditely. Imagine being paid 60k in this regime because feeding and accomodation is free. Omo I got home and started thinking about my life. Nothing beat owning your own business ... I feel like crying |

Self employment is not the best in all cases. This is why some tailors or people that own small shops still do salary jobs because their business alone cannot sustain them. If you are successful in your own business, great. But if you are struggling in the business and a good paying job comes your way, grab the job. In conclusion, a very profitable business is better than a salary job while a good salary job is better than a business that is struggling. Some people foolishly think that self employment is always the best. They start a business, close it within a year and claim that they are being pursued by village people. |

Sirchiboy:So sorry for your experience. Nigeria is presently experiencing the worst economic situation ever since 1960 ....under this Tinubu Government. Even those who are on a high paying jobs are NOT finding it funny......let alone job seekers .....who don't have any job yet. But don't give up.....accept any job that can at least put a food on your table , while you aim for a better job. |

This is actually for people that business is not naturally inclined in their blood. Am not even speaking of learning it well or not. Am referring to the determination to do business. I have never seen myself as a salary worker for a long time now. My brain is just to own my establishment. immortalcrown: |
