The saddest thing is that the driver have paid all the annual due. If you check the car wind screen you will noticed the driver pays all the annual and monthly tax. But Nigeria didn't pay him back.. |

It takes considerable skill with an AK rifle to hit a moving vehicle with the kind of accuracy that is evident in the above video clip. This means of course that the gunmen are trained with the AK, and are thus familiar with the amount of "lead" that must be applied when shooting at moving targets. My layman's speculation is that EITHER serving military operatives, OR invading militia men with hard-core battle experience from Africa's Sahel region, are the culprits of this latest among many highway ambush incidents in Nigeria. Since the official policy in force now for Nigeria is that armed bandits and genocidal terrorists can easily earn a get-out-of-jail-free card simply by "repenting" so as to qualify for a government-issued cash prize, it behooves all transporters to retrofit their buses with sheets of half-inch thickness metal plate that can be added to the inside of both front doors of public transport vehicles, as well between the engine compartment and the driver's seat, so that at least the driver can be protected if he crouches down and maneuvers the bus to safety when the shooting starts. Highway ambushes are now LEGAL to perpetrate in Nigeria, so for all who cannot flee the country, it is important that the public DEMAND transporters to armor their drivers' compartments, since adding such heavy metal plates to the entire vehicle will not be affordable or practical due to weight considerations. |

ElevationD:As the Islamic terrorists penetrate the south, the Tinubu-led armed forces are attacking unarmed Igbos in the southeast (99% Christians area). This is classical how to use government institutions to fight a Jihad. When Tinubu took to Muslim-Muslim presidency, I knew it would be like this. |

osuofia2:False..... Sars was active during Jonathan regime and during buhari regime.... It has never been Sars duty to curb gunmen, bandits or herdsmen.... SARS (special anti robbery squad) and if we're being honest there excesses outweighs their usefulness... Majority of them became a threat they were to tackle |

Akpabio said after the election insecurity will stop. That is the quality of leader's you are praising to come back in 2027. You have not seen anything yet. Tinubu is only a President, he is not the Commander in Chief |

Minjim:Does the police as an institution know what they are doing. Billions for new academy while retirees are banging on the same AsoRock gates for earned compensation. Upside down institutions, poor governance, outrageous spending habits, disorganized society. People that don't know what they want. Failed citizens. |

Pootle:You need to understand that referendum won't solve the problem. If you do revolution today and remove all the politicians, who will replace them? The same Nigerians that will cheat, disobey law, kill, kidnap, fraud, etc? Is it the same youth that wants to be flaunting money and partying? Nigeria problem isn't just the politicians but the people as well. This kidnapping and killings isn't because of the election. Killings and kidnapping has been a continuous process. Last year was no different and the year before experienced the same thing. The only difference is that people are more persuaded to join evil because of hardship. |

FBIBOT:Sars operation was not just restricted to armed robbery, from GEJ and before their disbandment, insecurity wasn't as much as it is presently, only Maiduguri and To be were experiencing Boko Haram attacks, Kidnapping was at the bearest minimum |

Kalashnikov49:In my honest opinion, govt are the ones festering this menace....if I were to be president I will take a no negotiation stance against this terrorist.....order tge security heads to set up tactical units specialised in jungle warfare and close range asymmetric warfare.....go after them wherever they are with their victims and call for their surrender, not negotiate, 24 hrs at the most and if they resist engage them within the perimeter......yes there will be collateral damage but I rather pay compensation tobthe victims families than pay these terrorist......if that becomes a policy of govt all these kidnappings will stop because you know the only option you have is death, there will be no more incentive for this brigandage. |

Chickensoup:even in surplus nigerians will still act in a certain way, let me take you down the memory lane, under obasanjo many could not act in a bad way because he was strict and will crush both the innocent and perpetrators with iron fist, next to yar adua we had the militants and agitation for autonomous governance of their resources note there was some political agenda attached, he died and jonathan made the amnesty and that was dead and buried, then boko boys started bombing here and there and it became a huge distraction everyone at the time focused on it as terrorism them those behind the game upped the entices the chibok girls and hell was let lose on jonathan, he left and the terrorism thing dropped to the minimum under buhari and then ipob and usn and the likes rose under buhari regime after 8year with little or no head way the current politician find a way around it and now it is bandits, herdsmen maiming people in the guise of terrorism. in all i took you through there is a pattern, it shows the center cannot hold the whole country, the country need a referendum to chose if to remain one which is not an option or split into countries which is the best for now, some countries around the world are not as big as east or west in land mass and in populations |

Kalashnikov49:Tinubu and APC are not interested in exposing and exterminating terrorists and kidnappers. He’s only interested in next year reelection and his 3rd term agenda, which Obasanjo failed to achieve in 2007 despite his Ghana must go bags of bribes to NASS members. Atiku’s loyalty to the constitution, made him risk his political future, to join other democratic heroes and kill the bill. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vPytmuhYDAU?si=NZBRgn5bc1Lbo5uL |

It's understandable, when election getting closer, insecurity is the major strategy of opposition party for justification of discrediting the ruling party.. This is evil and inhumanity against humanity. |
