Just imagine for one minute that this president is not a Yoruba man, the noise would have been over the roof, both from clergymen and scholars; tribalism is a disease. |

/ Some countries do offer cash palliatives to cushion adverse economic conditions. Nigeria gives cash palliatives that run into billions to ghosts--billions disbursed with no single recipient known or traceable. / |

Oil producers in the Middle East who were directly affected by the conflict and those actually involved in the conflict, oil prices in those countries did not increase by more than 25%. But Nigeria that is thousands of miles away from the conflict with no involvement whatsoever in it, oil prices rose by more than 60% in Nigeria. In this country the more you look and try to understand the less you’ll understand |

Beeron:Mr man stop deceiving yourself. How has Tinubu saved NIgeria with the protection of Dangote refinery? Was it not the same Tinubu that fought against Jonathan removing the subsidy back then a move that Kayode Fayemi said was politically motivated that Jonathan meant well for Nigeria. That was Jonathan's PDP that had a blue print on how to go about the subsidy removal. So how come the present Govt saved Nigerians by removing the subsidy without blue print ? I am sure you know, if Jonathan had removed the subsidy back then, the hardships wouldn't have e been noticeable like now, not only because the Govt at that time has q blueprint but there were experienced and tested experts like Okonjo Iweala who would have navigated the removal with expertise |

adenigga:^^^ The question is why? Why? Why in the world should a country with the raw material - and the refineries to process it - be vulnerable to 'fluctuations in crude oil prices, international supply chain disruptions' etc.? Why? Does it make any sense? Living on the river bank and washing your hands with spittle. ![]() |
