My mum is also in the same situation. She's always complaining about the pains. I'll really appreciate all useful suggestions here

If you insist on the knee replacement,Cedarcrest Hospital Abuja is the best private hospital in Abuja for knee replacement.Make sure you do the physiotherapy after the replacement.The total cost inclusive of pre and post surgery is a minimum of 15millon.

For government hospital,Dala Hospital Kano is equally good .The cost here should be within 6 million

It’s not only her knees that hurt; the pain spreads all over her legs. She has been taking pain relievers, but they only provide relief for a few minutes. sorry for the long absence dear. How is mom doing? Were you able to get the stem cell ? You can Google miracell stem cell . Very effective. If you are in southwest or you have someone in ibadan, I can direct you to a public place you can get it

I truly hope she is better honestly. My mom used to take Acycor mixed with dexamethasone for her knee and waist pains. But try and get stem cell, it will renew all the cells in her body and she will be as fit as a fiddle in no time and free from all pains too

I'm not in the medical field .... but knee surgery for arthritis? Didn't an alarm go off in your head? ..prompting you to rush to Google? In these times ... with fake doctors around ...we need to stop swallowing whatever the doctor says. The least you can do is take her to another hospital/doctor ... not mentioning she visited one before.....and I guarantee you will hear something different. If your mother is heavy....then weight is likely the root of the problem. She needs to lose weight through diet and exercise. Even if knee surgery is successful.... she will take a longgggg time ...to recover ...never fully ... if she sticks to the follow up therapy ...wear the knee support as recommended etc. who will be caring for her all this time? Let her lose weight and see if there's an improvement. Sh will be now crying out for pain because the pain killer is becoming less effective.... she will have to use a stronger one ...then that will become less effective...she will have to use a stronger one ... and so on. Can you afford it?...what will be the side effects?...how will you manage a mother addicted to pain killers? You need to cut her off ASAP.HMMM ... knee surgery for arthritis......I learned something new today.
