My personal suggestion.
Almost all of us here have and use starlink. That's a huge number I suppose.

If all us start sharing our referral links and BEGGING new users to use only ours and not that of the other, then we are going to make this beautiful thread boring.

I know we love free things, but i suggest if you find someone who wants starlink, private chats him by sending him an email on Nairaland and sell your market to him to use your referral link and not in this thread, coz if we all do it, nobody will like this thread again.

I just scrolled through and saw referral links everywhere.

Guys help. My card for subscription on my starlink app expired. I got a new card and it doesn't work. I have tried the card (access Bank Visa Card) and UBA MasterCard but I get this error. Please how can I resolve this? My subscription renewal has been due since 11th April 2026

That was before in the Early days of starlink in Nigeria, but now if you don't pay they will just cut off your internet access and there will be no accumulated fees to pay. They cut off my own service every 30th day of the month at around 4am if i didn't pay.

Well, they don't cut off my access at the end of each month if I don't pay. They just keep sending me notifications everyday till balance due is cleared.

There's no way you will notice naa.
Check your invoice and see the date of your disconnection then don't pay and see if you won't be disconnected.

Bros, I know if what I speak. I've never received a notice of disconnection sha and I've been using their service since 2022.

See try this ,you see that place starlink wrote on your invoice "If payment is not received on so so date your subscription will be suspended” ,don't pay until that date is passed and see if you won't be disconnected,try it. Make sure you don't pay before the suspension date ,pay after and see if you won't be disconnected. I know what I am saying.

They used to allow more than 3 months of no payment in the early days and the money will be accumulated, but they don't do that anymore. They will disconnect you if you don't pay before the suspension date writen on your invoice. Try it and see

If your service would be disconnected if your don't pay after the stipulated date. The stipulated date is after 3weeks of the expiration of my subscription.

In short, starlink give you up to extra 3weeks after your subscription expires. If you don't make payment after then, you get disconnected.
Also, if you eventually get disconnected, you must clear you outstanding bills before your terminal gets activated.

Maybe you didn't read my post very well,i said if you don't pay before the date written on your invoice where starlink wrote "IF PAYMENT IS NOT RECIEVED ON SO SO DATE YOUR SERVICE WILL BE SUSPENDED UNTIL PAYMENT IS MADE". If you don't pay before that date on your invoice your internet access will be suspended. My point is that you can no longer go beyond one month 57k before they suspend your access. In the early days when payment was still 38k and later 75k, i accumulated 3 months bill straight and clear them all without them disconnecting me. But you can no longer do that now.

I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT THE BILLING CYCLE DATE.

I didn't lodge any complain at all. My sub expired last night, by the time I woke up, their normal payment reminder email was already in my mail. As I logged in to make payment, discovered that there was no outstanding balance. On scrolling down, saw that the balance was already offset with the credits they gave.

but back in previous pages i was asking for starlink to reduce price or bring atleast affordable plan like 1tb 80mbps for 25k

you guys were there abusing me and defending startlink, that 57k is very okay for you guys

Affordability and being free are not the same thing. Who no like free thing? Even if starlink reduce their subscription to 25k, people will still ask for a lower price, human wants are insatiable.
