...and he was removed? The way you guys hype and defend failure is out of this world.. His CV wasn't so matching or impressive, to warrant that role. I knew it was a we-we thing but the role is more sensitive that that, unfortunately.

If he had his way, ill health or not, he'd have managed to complete his tenure. It was good he was removed, citing fake health issue. No civil servants or appointees had so willingly resigned in the Nigerian political history. Take note of that

I thought they said he was sick, he should be over seas taking treatment because that's their stock in trade

He lost his job the very day he said the govt did not meet 2024 and 2025 revenue target during 2026 budget defense late last year.

Secondly, he exposed the state of the economy and percentage of capital release for 2024 and 2025, which is less than 20% and this angered the presidency and the cabals.

Meanwhile, his position contradict PBAT statement earlier before the budget defense.

That is subjective because many factors where at play and he did not have complete control over governments financial decisions just like okonjo iweala under Jonathan government. The final financial decisions are taken by government that doesn't follow ur recommendations as finance minister.
