The implications is simple, once INEC receives your party's membership register before the primaries, it is over for you. Whoever the Governor gives ticket through consensus is binding on you and you cannot disagree and go to another party to clinch the ticket because your name could not have been in the other party's membership register. They enslaved themselves.

They passed that Bill thinking that they will get automatic return tickets, they fuulishily stood on a mandate that didn't stand with them. Never have we had such intellectually deficient bunch at the helm of governance in the history of Nigeria.

Let's not go there. Buhari didn't constrict political space to allow just the APC to compete against itself. He allowed the opposition to thrive. He also wasn't offering money to oppo govs to defect. I personally enjoyed the competitive political atmosphere that prevailed under him. Can you confidently the same today, or aren't all major opposition parties wrecked by crisis?
