He can't come any sooner. I'd like Nelli to stay though. Still has some fight in him.

Terrible scouting had us undone this season.

Why can't arsenal just finish off this game?

Are they reserving energy for the Atletico clash in the champions league?

At the Emirates Stadium, Arsenal delivered a composed and tactically disciplined performance against Newcastle United, controlling large stretches of the game and showing greater efficiency in key moments.

From the outset, Arsenal imposed their identity—patient buildup, positional rotations, and heavy use of the flanks. Their midfield dictated tempo, progressing the ball cleanly through the thirds while limiting Newcastle’s ability to press effectively. The home side’s structure allowed them to sustain pressure and pin Newcastle deep for long periods.

Newcastle, on the other hand, looked to stay compact and threaten in transition. While they had a few promising breaks, their final ball often lacked precision, and they struggled to consistently bypass Arsenal’s defensive shape. Out of possession, they worked hard, but gaps began to appear as the match wore on.

The decisive moments came from Arsenal’s sharper attacking play—better movement in the final third and more clinical finishing. Their forwards capitalized on defensive lapses, turning control into tangible reward. Newcastle’s resistance faded late on, as fatigue and chasing the game stretched their lines.

In summary, this was a professional, controlled display from Arsenal—strong in possession, organized defensively, and decisive in attack. Newcastle showed resilience but ultimately lacked the cutting edge and sustained threat needed to trouble a well-drilled Arsenal side at home.

Arteta takes too long before making substitutions. Why wait till 80 minutes before removing misfit like Madueke and exhausted Zubimendi? Our frontline is nothing to write home at all, we cannot continue like this

Like this baby coach doesn't watch more exciting teams play..

So dull in his approach and never learns. It's little wonder he has a hat-trick of 2nd-placed finishes in 3 years.
Stubborn and stuck in his ways

Does it feel like we are back ontop, from a fans' perspective? Not at all.
But you see that mugu baby coach jubilating like he's already won the league.

He alone is happy with this drudgery he calls football.
