The nation economy has been mismanaged since the present and past administration.Purchasing power hasn't been this worse.May Nigeria rise again
More money from subsidy removal
More money from taxation
More money from borrowing

Yet less value on the purchasing power
Yet the economy is still struggling

I should rather question your level of reasoning that made you not to be able to comprehend my simple comments.

Now go back to what you initially quoted and read it slowly
Chairman, the foreigner is talking about N1,000 as the highest donomination of a country and it's ridiculous purchasing power.

Hence it's equivalent in this context in the US is $100 bill.

And she's actually right that the value of it is not even up to $1. That's why Nigerians work like elephants and eat like rats.

Stop trying to circumvent the correct narrative.

It's idiots like you that will carry ₦1000 to roadside sellers and buy ₦300 akara, ₦500 bread and start shouting for your change, then come online to say ₦1000 cannot buy anything in Nigeria. Should all of us start peddling lies because we're unhappy with the government?
You already sound frustrated and angry, upon say Na you dey insult me 😂😂😂😂. No need for insults. We can disagree without that. The point still stands, ₦1000 today has significantly reduced purchasing power compared to before. That’s a real concern, not ‘peddling lies.

So after telling yourself the ugly plain truth will it help you in any way or will that make the people in charge do anything?

And this is how they end us degrading their country in front of foreigners who don't even know anything.

She's saying 1,000 Naira can't even get you anything. Well it can get you many things, she is oblivious about what it can get. Nonsense.

Meetchew ...the lady was comparing currencies ...not value of money ...if you want to talk about purchasing power of 1000 naira ...then you must compare it with 1000 dollars...the lady never compared 74 cents(#1000 in nigerian currency) purchasing power to 1000 naira

It's equivalent which is the highest in dollars is $100 and in U.K ( depending if you are in England, Scotland or Ireland) it is between £50 and £100, so how does the highest in Nigeria that is N1,000 beat the former in value?

Answer this question, then I can give u more facts about how Tinubu has crippled the economy and caused it to be on a life support machine that may never be recovered again.

Remember she said it's our highest currency...what the highest currency in her country can do vs what the highest currency in ur country can do...judge for urself.

What N1,000 Naira can buy in Nigeria, majority of the countries will struggle to buy same thing in their respective countries with the equivalent

Just Google the price of beer alone across Africa countries

I've always said it that most Nigerians are educated illiterates for those who went to school among us. It's a share waste of time arguing with many of us.

The reason for the highest denomination of our currency being limited to just #1000 is not known to most noise makers.

This is an indication that the country's inflation is 🚨!
The government need to invite some experienced financial experts or technocrats and see how this can be urgently addressed. Sometimes, when they offer prime solutions or suggestions, they don't usually make them operational or are discarded.

What can $1 get you in the US, and what can N1 get you in Nigeria? That should be the question we should be asking.

You have no position. Why would a normal person stoop so low to see $1 as valuable as N1360? Was the same $1 not N0.86 in the early 80s?
Again, why should $1 be equal to N1360?
Re: Foreign Lady Shocked By ₦1000 Value In Nigeria (Photos/Video) by Btruth: 8:53pm On Apr 25
And is that how it's done? The value is meant to be calculated not the highest denomination, Okay?

Like comparing the highest denomination of Zimbabwe note now, what do you get? Zero.....!!!
