2027:igbos Will Not Forgive Atiku If He Sabotage Igbo Presidency The Second Time by 21lucky(op): 9:50pm On Apr 25
A wave of political memory and warning swept through the Southeast this week as Igbo elders, youth groups, and market leaders declared that Igbos will not forgive Atiku Abubakar if he sabotages Igbo Presidency the second time in 2027.

The anger traces back to 2023, when, according to Igbo stakeholders, Atiku Abubakar sabotaged Igbo Presidency by refusing to let the Peoples Democratic Party zone its presidential ticket to the Southeast. That decision, they say, forced Peter Obi to decamp to the Labour Party and fractured the Igbo presidential drive at its most critical hour.

“We begged for equity. We asked for justice. Atiku Abubakar chose ambition over brotherhood,” the Coalition of Igbo Professionals said in a fiery statement on Tuesday. “He sabotaged Igbo Presidency in 2023. If he tries the same thing in 2027, Igbos will not forgive him. History will write his name in bitter ink.”

Traders at Main Market Onitsha and Ariaria in Aba described 2023 as “the wound that refused to heal.” “We had a son ready. The nation was ready. Atiku said no to zoning and scattered our house,” an electronics dealer said, wiping sweat and memory from his brow. “Peter Obi had to leave PDP because Atiku Abubakar blocked the Southeast. We have not forgotten.”

Youth leaders say the pattern is repeating itself. With 2027 talks heating up, they accuse Atiku Abubakar of again maneuvering to deny the Southeast a clear path, placing personal ambition above national healing. “The same hand that blocked us in 2023 is reaching out again in 2027,” the Igbo Youth Assembly warned. “If Atiku sabotages Igbo Presidency the second time, the forgiveness we gave after the civil war will not extend to him.”

Traditional rulers called 2023 “the great sabotage” and urged Atiku to “search his conscience.” “You cannot call us brothers and twice kill our turn,” an Eze from Imo State said. “Peter Obi decamping to Labour Party was not his choice — it was Atiku Abubakar’s blockade that pushed him. Let it not happen again.”

Women groups in Abakaliki held placards reading “2027 Is Our Turn — Don’t Sabotage Us Again” as they sang dirges for 2023. “We buried that pain once,” a mother of four said. “If Atiku Abubakar digs it up in 2027, Igbos will not forgive him. Not in this generation.”

For now, Atiku Abubakar has not declared for 2027, but his body language, Igbo leaders insist, looks familiar. And from the East, the message is wrapped in silk and steel: “We forgave a war. We may not forgive a second sabotage.”

All aspirants must participate in primary election, nothing like free ticket or vice presidential ticket.

Atiku worked for Tinubu in 2023 and he is again working for him to win the 2027 election.
The agreement is work for me to win then in 2031 I will hand over power to you since by then it will be the turn of the north to produce the president that will succeed Tinubu.
ADC should be weary 🙀 of Atiku.

The northerners are more mature politically than southern part, they will not vote for Obi for a mere promised of single tenure which is all deceit. The best permutation is ATIKU/OBI ticket.

Just keep crying just maybe your feudal lords will pity you and hand you the presidency.
Presidency is for those that can fight and take it. That's the difference between Tinubu and MKO.

1. I thought they are all billionaires and don't care about the presidency

2. How on earth do igbos think that northerners would ever support an igbo man to be president of Nigeria? As in, the same northerners that I know like the back of my hands! They'd rather vote for Tinubu 100 times than any igbo man and you can trace the genesis of that hatred back to January 15 1966.

3.SW is the only region that can make igbo presidency a reality, I hope they realise it sooner rather than later. We voted for Jonathan in 2011. Any person who can vote for Jonathan can vote for an igbo man. In fact, many of our people thought Jonathan was igbo.

Goto any Hausa platforms like on tiktok and keep translating their responses on what to do when/If ADC gives Obi ticket to understand why these people crying here are just wasting their time.

They are all in ADC because of Atiku because they said he owns the coalition... How can you trust Peter Obi, with his infamous "Yes daddy" phone call to Oyedepo with presidency?

Peter Obi has told you people before not to vote him because he is Igbo, but to vote him because of his competence and capacity.

How is Atiku blocking Igbo Presidency?
Re: 2027:igbos Will Not Forgive Atiku If He Sabotage Igbo Presidency The Second Time by AsomughaChuks02: 4:58am On Apr 26
This is cheap blackmail. Atiku was first in ADC and Peter Obi left LP to go meet him there. If you are to blame anyone, blame Peter Obi for his lack of foresight. His supporters say they will follow him anywhere he goes, so let them urge him to decamp as usual rather than shedding crocodile tears.

This is where your confusion comes from. Who told you Obi has the capacity? Obi, who can barely express himself coherently without resorting to lies and innuendos? I want an Igbo presidency, not an Obi presidency. Unfortunately, Obi and his cronies, the Obidients, have almost scuttled that chance. Why did Obi join ADC instead of staying in his LP and serving as a rallying point? He ran to Atiku’s SPV. That singular move is almost depriving a chance for presidential candidate in the 2027 election.

It is not about me, but about Peter Obi, who continues to ruin the chances of an Igbo man becoming President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any of Soludo or Umahi could come into the mix in the near future, and the South West would support them. We cannot be blackmailed into supporting a dull person simply because of mob pressure.
Re: 2027:igbos Will Not Forgive Atiku If He Sabotage Igbo Presidency The Second Time by Goodvibes007: 5:40am On Apr 26
Who your forgiveness help?

You should have told the whole of Nigeria from the get go that all you wanted was Igbo presidency instead of presenting us with a failed former Governor of Anambra, while using gbajue to try and sell him to us as the best thing since slice bread.

Meanwhile, we told you Obi should not have left LP but of course, you insulted us.

It's now obvious that the ADC ticket is highly likely going to Atiku, while the VP would be going to GSM (PDP). The Ibadan gathering just confirmed what the likes of Fayose had early talked about.

Tinubu doesn't have mobs?
Soludo or Umahi presently do not have mobs?

No Igboman alive today ever has a chance. The day Soludo or Umahi plan to run, they will be told where they came from. We have heard this all before.

In politics, you have to stoop to conquer. Tinubu was in opposition and in total control of the Southwest but he had to deputise Buhari through proxy to become president. Time and event has proven that he never had any love for Buhari but Northerners still returned the favour and voted him in 2023 when the entire South didn't. Shettima is currently Vice to Tinubu and pretends to be "loyal", it's not subservience, it's strategy. There's no pathway to a Southeasterner becoming president that will not involve going through the VP route, whether in ADC or APC. ADC just offers a much faster and clearer line of sight. The Southeast should be strategic and seize this opportunity to become major stakeholders of the ADC now, just like the Southwest did with APC.

Obidients are fast sabotaging Peter Obi by demanding that other candidates step down for him and claiming his votes aren't transferable. That's not how to play this game of politics. Atiku equally has his supporters. He got 7m votes in 2023 at a time when Northerners gave Tinubu 5.6m votes. Much of those Tinubu's voters will no longer vote for him. Do the maths. Politics is not an emotional sport and it's not a game of superiority, or even morality. You can only appeal to people's sense of interest in politics, not pity. Power is not served on a plate. Often times, to grab power, you have to stoop to conquer.

Atiku is no fool. He would still get the majority of the northern vote. ADC is his SPV. He was welcomed like the president when he even arrived at Ibadan. The best time Peter Obi should have left ADC was yesterday.

Crying over spilt milk. Atiku does not care about what anyone wants let alone the agitation of Igbos.

Atiku is the most self-centred politician in the history of Nigeria. The lamentations of Igbos means nothing to him.

Shey I was warning you that these crase people will soon start attacking Atiku.

They launched a barrage of insults on Amaechi for refusing to step down for their Obi.

Now they are attacking Atiku because it is now clear that Atiku might get the ticket but most importantly will not be picking Obi as his running mate.

Note that I also told you that Obi is in the ADC just to be running mate to Atiku.

I also warned you that they will do a protest vote and vote any obscure candidate rather than Atiku.

Well, they will waste their votes again.

What I just wanted to remind you is that there can be no long lasting or true alignment with these people who see themselves as the true rulers of Nigeria .

Lol. Well-said. We are used to the Fatwas the smallest yansh don dey issue against big yansh historically since independence.

Look where they were then and where they are today? No forward motion at all. Only losses upon losses.

No growth , no maturity and no capacity for critical thinking essential to winning in political life.

What they have retained is the capacity for issuing empty threats and fondness of throwing themselves around on the floor senselessly.
