Okay good morning. I'm a pianist in my church and I'm also a member of the media unit.

There is this new pianist that just came to our church and he plays well, but I won't say he is as good as me. The problem is I recently noticed that he likes to keep a secret recorder (his phone), where he records everything I play and the next Sunday, when it is his turn to play, he plays exactly what I play.

He has recorded so much keyboarding idea from me that I am even surprised at how much he has gotten in a very short time.

Sometimes if I'm playing the keyboard he will sneak up on me. Like there is a door behind the instrument stand, so he sneaks up on me and check what I'm playing to copy.


The other time I spoke to him, I told him if he wants to learn he could come and meet me that I'm willing to teach him, but he doesn't stop copying. I don't really know what to do. This makes me the feel weird. When I get on the keyboard I feel someone is seriously extracting something from me without my permission.

Please what do you do in this kind of situation. The young man will not stop and it seems he wants to learn from me without actually coming to me plus he's a disrespectful fellow. Why does it even bother me.
