Trump and his America have been overdue for a serious humiliation.

Russia is secretly helping Iran even the odds... Which is fair.

If Trump had easily overrun Iran like he did to Venezuela, he would have started moving on to Greenland and Cuba.

Man thinks the universe is his for the taking.

This bald headed 3rd Reich apologist should be thankful the US is trying to save the world from a nuclear armed Iran.....he is busy spewing thrash while his country is about to be overrun by Islamic militant emigrating in their record numbers into Germany.....a country once known for its superior automobile industrial revolution, the position which has now been lost to the US.

I understand his disdain for America after they gave his mentor a resounding defeat in the last world war.

May God bless the USA.
God bless Israel and of course God bless Nigeria and punish all terrorists within us.

Iran should reach a deal otherwise they will have themselves to be blamed.
Do you know that there is wide crack between the IRGC and the Iranian presidency regarding how the war is being handled by the IRGC?
Are you aware that a lot of Iran oil facilities, nuclear infrastructure, military installations, the regime nuclear weapon scientists and military commanders have been eliminated?
More will go down if lots like you keep helping the regime to continue digging deeper their graves.
If the negotiations fails then all the remaining regime top officials and officers become legitimate targets.
The Mossad and CIA know where they are already and will take them out when the time comes.

Dont mind the ediot.. There's no single western nation that has thrown its weight behind the war

The Iran situation is an American and Israeli creation. Other western countries have stayed away from the crisis despite numerous threats from the US. This is Donald Trump's shit, he should clear it. EU countries owes him nothing on this.

Changes nothing! The Strait of Hormuz is still under blockade. The blockade they started has been effectively enforced by the US. Iran is losing revenues of hundreds of millions in dollars. If this continues for the next 2 weeks I'm afraid for the implosion that may happen within their country when they can't sustain their government. I hear they have submitted a revised, indirect proposal through Pakistani mediators to end the ongoing conflict. This is to tell you that they are feeling the heat from within and without.
Which stupid implosion. Why can't America started the blockade when the war was ranging and began under the cover of ceasefire. If the war war again all those ships are within their anti ship and drone. Many of it will be sunk in a jiffy.

They will leave the so called blockade ASAP. It just trying to use that as a pressure point to force Iran to negotiate and you can see that they are calling his bluff without negotiating again. He can't keep that blockade for long because is purely not sustainable.

Sunnyshinylight:
This take is emotionally satisfying, but it is strategically shallow.

Calling the US “humiliated” because talks are stalling ignores how high-level geopolitics actually works. Stalemates are not signs of weakness by default, they are often deliberate pressure points. The US is not negotiating from desperation, it is negotiating from layered leverage, military, economic, and diplomatic.

Let’s break the reality:

- Iran is under sustained economic pressure, sanctions are still biting hard.
- Its currency instability and internal strain are not signs of a country “winning.”
- Engaging Russia is not strength, it is dependency shifting.

Now contrast that with the US:

- It controls the global financial system backbone.
- It has unmatched naval dominance, especially around critical routes like the Strait of Hormuz.
- Its alliances, even when noisy, still outweigh Iran’s network.

Germany complaining is not a fracture, it is normal alliance friction. Western partners disagree publicly all the time, but when it matters, they align structurally. That has been proven repeatedly.

Also, “talks stalling” does not mean the US is losing control. In many cases, it means the US is tightening conditions and refusing to concede. Diplomacy is not about speed, it is about outcome.

People keep making the same analytical mistake:
They confuse resistance with strength, and noise with power.

Iran resisting does not automatically mean it is dictating terms. It simply means it has fewer options and is stretching its position as far as possible.

If anything, prolonged negotiations favor the US more, because time amplifies economic pressure, not military theatrics.

So no, this is not humiliation.
This is strategic patience playing out in real time.
honestly, you're the only one on this nairaland that I've seen so far say things as it is with this ongoing conflict. Every other things that's being discussed is here is very shallow and disheartening to say the least, which obviously shows how bad and deteriorated our ways of analysing geopolitical truth and propaganda is so far apart, kudos to u. cheesy

Terrorist sympathizers keep consoling themselves of news like this grin Omo this are hard times for terrorist sympathizers oo...

They detest hearing truthful and bitter gists of how Iran is losing woefully economically and on d military front... Tell them iran is losing millions of dollars due to blockade, they form amnesia; tell them Iran has lost his military generals and supreme leaders, they console themselves with Iran standing up to USA...

Now give them fake news that netanyahu is dead or USA military ships are up in flames, and have been captured by Iran, u go see them typing with joy and confidence grin
These terrorist sympathizers too mumu

This is a ridiculous take. So, why is Iran not attacking the American ships currently imposing the blockade if the can? Don’t you know that this blockade is an existential threat to Iran? It’s the ultimate act of war without firing a single bullet (unless they dare defy the blockade). Iran is bleeding economically and they can’t do shit about it. The worst they can do is to threaten the strait of Hormuz and make other countries scared of using it.
America is the ultimate world power. What the rest do is jus talk

Imagine bombing white house , killing president of America and all his ranks, eliminated all his allies inside and outside Iran, destroyed all it air defense, render them useless for weeks..... They managed to bring down one war plane down, America went inside Iran and rescue their two airmen, blocked strait of Hormuz and still giving them conditions to accept my deal or continue suffering... Yesterday I saw president of Iran telling Irani citizens to use 1 electric bulb in their houses instead of 10 to save energy... In few days there will be blackout due to collapse of their electric grid and you called that humiliation and victory.... I just they laugh this ppl.. don't worry Russia will use Europe as testing ground for it new weapons.. you won't see America

He is clearly being clever by half.
It is the whole west that is humilating itself by launching an unprovoked war on Iran under the pretext that Iran is building nuclear weapon, same despicable format they used to destroy Iraq.

Nobody is stupid except those who fall for your deception.

Only Spain stayed away by denying US of military parts, bases and even her airspace.

Germany and others are actively supporting the evil agression on Iran war at the backend sir.
If the Europeans are supporting the American and Israeli incursion in Iran, they won't need your approval nor opinion to portray it.

Just like they did in Iraq and Afghanistan, without your approval.

The more reason POTUS cancelled the travel this past weekend. He knew the irgc is just gonna stall again, they are not ready to agree to anything.

This comment from merz is late and not relevant. The US knows what is happening themselves and you can't say they humiliating them when they just cancelled a meeting with them.

Trump has already decided to cancel the meeting because he knew nothing is going to be agreed to, so rather than going there and coming back with nothing after the first talk then they better stay back.

You didn't answer my question why can't America started the blockade when the war was ranging. Infact their almighty armada fled the strait Hormuz to indian ocean.

So let the war will restart again but Iran wouldn't like to restart it but eventually it will happen if US continue like this because they are shuning their yeye negotiation. Again is not sustainable for US to continue the blockade for long they will eventually pack the thing and leave.

Pretext? So many decisions can be questioned, but it is clear that Iran has pursued nuclear capabilities that have raised serious international concerns. The sooner it returns to meaningful negotiations, the better the outcome is likely to be for everyone involved.

People can share sentimental stories from every angle, but the reality is stark. If this war continues, Iran could face such extensive destruction that rebuilding the country may take decades—possibly half a century. In war, pride and rhetoric often dominate the headlines, but it is ordinary citizens who bear the heaviest cost. Ultimately, diplomacy, however imperfect, remains far less costly than prolonged conflict.

The problem with you and your ilk is that you fail to appreciate the fact that victory for Iran and America is not measured using the same barometer.

Oga,every day that passes without Trump having the Strait opened is a win for Iran.

What is America's aim for the war and what exactly have they achieved, apart from dropping a few bombs on schools and killing some government functionaries?

Why are you crying more than the bereaved?

Diplomacy?

Which diplomacy are you talking about?

You mean the same diplomacy that achieved a concrete deal between America and Iran before Trump came in and tore it apart?

Or is it the same diplomacy that America and Iran were exploring since last year before Trump decided to unilaterally bomb Iran?

The Orange Bvffoon at the White House thought Iran was another Venezuela and now he's stuck.

what victory exactly... How did you measure the victoryhuh Trying to destroy the infrastructure their neighbors worked so hard to build is what you called victoryhuh America aim of the war is to reduce Ayatollah khanamieh to dust and they have achieve that, now they have internal crisis and should solve it out.. you see the way they were mounting Merchant ships like monkeys, disturbing maritime activities with small canoe boats, they should've attack another shop after Trump instructed US Navy to shoot and kill any small boat they see in strait of Hormuz, all of them ran away... That is not true.
You are twisting the facts.
You are carrying out taqiyya.

What he meant was that, just like the UNRWA system works, the USA gives aid to governments such as the Nigerian government. Instead of using it for its expected purpose, it is mismanaged. People embezzle it, and the channels of its distribution, when traced, get to the hands of terrorists through those mischievous elements in power who support jeehard, but are in the government.

That is exactly what he said.
