My car just stopped responding to the throttle. Like when you press it down, it raises the engine but doesn't move. Pls have anyone experienced this issue before and how did you get it fixed. You might have ignored this for long before it probably get to this stage, meet a mech to scan the check engine light you see on your dashboard. Then start your diagnosis from there before you shuck hand for anything

Good morning. Pls drivers coming from coastal road heading to d intersection where d coastal road starts (eko hotel intersection ) should please slow down when apporaching it. There was a very serious accident last nyt at dat junction. A speeding car from coastal road rammed into a car at dat junction. Both cars were damaged. Repairable but very badly damaged... Dat spot dey chop people carbon a steady.

From 7:30am, it later start by 2pm. After i drove 150meters i enter gutter wey dem comot the slab bumper first tear . I first burst laff. Na one generous man wey dey come from church help me lift am while i drive out of the gutter.

The man advice make i park adjust the bumper so as to manage am reach destination, naso i unknowingly off Engine, since then reach now e no gree start

Motor can be running 100% fine and go bad the next minute

Now i dey battle bumper and Kickstart problem, if Oil sump still intact sha

This is all that matters in this business. When I see drivers spouting all sorta gratuitous strategies they adopt/deploy I just shake my head at such level of overthinking and ridiculous calculations. It's not as though ride-hailing is rocket science or something requiring high level of intelligence.

In fact , the very first time I grossed over 90k most of my trips that day were less than 3.5k naira. I still remember that day because the prices stood out for me. Another important factor was the fact that there was practically no waiting after arriving for the pick-ups. The riders were either waiting for me or just exiting their buildings when I arrived.

When the time to pickup point is more than 2 mins, Baba, I no dey go. Except, of course, na big money and I'm sure I'd get a trip within 30 mins of arriving at the destination.

U say d job doesn't need extra intelligence but that last paragraph is the rocket science that alot of people don't know.

Someone posted that he went to Ikorodu and Badagary on the same day, if he knew better he would never do that. In my almost 10yrs in this business I have not gone to Badagary, never been to Epe, only 1time to Dangote refinery and I can count on one hand how many times I have gone to Ikorodu. (Both online and offline).
U see the knowledge of route is what makes d difference between one who makes 120k gross everyday and one who celebrates making 90k gross ones in a blue moon.

There are many practical examples of ignorance on wheels. Be humble to learn.

Why person go speed when intersection dey ahead? Those drivers on the island are the most reckless i hv ever seen in a while.

From 7pm its difficult to drive on lekki epe express, you have to be very vigilant and always aware by checking your side mirrors every second else person fit bash you from overspeeding and na the same road korope and danfo full, those ones go enter express before dem look side mirror thats even if the vehicle has one.

Taking a trip to Alimosho is it a good Area to go to ?

Not bad. Just b say plenty plenty police for road

Abeg shey Uber no get comfort categories ni? All this their Uber X price is shit, but I must commend them for waiting fee, I didn’t even wait up to 10 mins , I was surprised they charge over 1K already 😂😂 we need this on bolt abeg

The funny thing is that at this particular time I am not sure he understands the gravity of the poster you put up because it wasn't long ago he was actively searching and begging for a vehicle to drive on rentals to make ends meet

He hasn't gotten a vehicle of his own to understand that between 2023 and 2026 we have been mandated to pay almost 300% of what we used to for vehicle registration and maintenance

I truly hope he's doing good sha 🤗 Na my guy him be no matter what
