Pls I asked a question since last week no one replied. Is ajah now free of traffic due to road construction?

Possible.
It was bound to be like that at some point after the construction was concluded. That left turn was a make shift cos the bridge was still under construction.

The second paragraph doesn't make sense though... U can come back to Toyin the same way cars from Opebi are entering Toyin. There is no more U turn in salvation for a long time now, so u can't turn at salvation. Why will u go all d way to under Oregun link bridge to turn back to Toyin.
That one isn't true.

Always check G-map for traffic indication anywhere you will like to go.

Much respect, boss.

U say d job doesn't need extra intelligence but that last paragraph is the rocket science that alot of people don't know.

Someone posted that he went to Ikorodu and Badagary on the same day, if he knew better he would never do that. In my almost 10yrs in this business I have not gone to Badagary, never been to Epe, only 1time to Dangote refinery and I can count on one hand how many times I have gone to Ikorodu. (Both online and offline).
U see the knowledge of route is what makes d difference between one who makes 120k gross everyday and one who celebrates making 90k gross ones in a blue moon.

There are many practical examples of ignorance on wheels. Be humble to learn.
Good day sir.

From your write up, its quite obvious you have garnered a great wealth of experience in this ride hailing business.

Please sir I am one looking to join the business anytime soon. And I will need some guidance in the field so I dont make some avoidable mistakes in my quest to make a living.

So pls sir, if you dont mind, can i have your digits so I can discuss with you some personal concerns I am having about ride hailing.

Thanks in anticipation.

Good day guys. I just renewed my driver's license and I was given a the filled form print out with plenty signature of it. My fear now is ; will Uber accept it ? Abi how do I go about it. My account has been blocked from trips due to that. Thank you guys as I await your response.

This is false. The Opebi/Ojota road is not open. Till today, cars still turn left as the turn left arrow is still there.

At any point that this becomes the case, they will always put a no left turn sign. I know Lagos can be mean sometimes but not to this extent.

I once heard someone said he was tipped 50k here, I usually don't believe Nigerians are that generous till it happened to me this night. Took him from Oniru to VI. Trip of 6500 on Bolt Comfort, he paid 20k and asked me to wait, I usually don't like waiting for passengers due to how it usually turn out to be and I dey chase bolt trip bonus but my instincts just kicked in that if this guy fit pay 20k, he seems a generous person also the quality of his conversation all through his phone conversation. After waiting a while I took him to Bourdillion, then straight back to his place in Oniru. Naso baba run me 50k extra. I wish person fit dey meet people like this everyday or atleast twice a week.

Good day everyone

Pls my question is how will I know the area where rider's destination is before accepting the trip? Because some destination will just show the street name and house number without showing if it's Ikorodu or Badagry or other places.

Also can you guys also help newbies like myself some areas to avoid (dead zones) because I had a not too smooth experience last week, I took a rider to Ikorodu and I couldn't get any reasonable ride so I drove to Ikeja and then took another one to Badagry only to be enter some annoying traffic both going and coming plus from Badagry I didn't get any ride back as well. So that day was just very bad experience for me.

Also I'm using 2005 big daddy Camry and if I buy fuel of 20k, I only gross 40k is this normal or I'm doing somethings wrong

And lastly what is the highest distance I should consider for pickup because all the trips that Uber has been offering me has been from 15mins above that's why I used more of indrive and bolt.

Every contributions and ideas will be appreciated 🙏
Bro.. Good day.

Pls if you dont mind, can I have you contact, preferably whatsapp. As I would love to share some concerns with you.

I like your question. But no one has responded yet

phranco:
Pls as this work don hard due to fuel , I'm thinking towards registering/complying with airport authorities so that I can station at the airport and wait for riders, maybe flight passengers may pay better. If any driver here is working at the airport pls share your experience, is it a nice idea? How can I go about it or should I have a rethink.
