⚡Iranian Army spokesperson:

"For us, it is still wartime. We continue to monitor, do surveillance, and equip ourselves."
Chinese and Russian cargo assets keep landing in ports across Iran. What this spokesman is saying is fact. Persia is being armed to the teeth for the inevitable.

Yes. A second round is now very certain because the Israeli lobby has gotten the ropes over Trump. He is in a fix. He can't get out. All he does now is type nonsense on Liar Social. He is so much removed from reality.

Appleyard:
I came to bury Iran, not to praise it....but even in death, the living must learn to give the dead their flowers. So, I have learned to respect Iran's choice and rules of engagement even in the face of an existential threat.

I understand the frustration among some of us here vis-a-vis why Iran is not striking first, especially with the current US military buildup across the ME and the so-called blockade of the strait by the US from a farther angle, which Aragchi called an act of war. But, the reality is that, Iran's refusal to strike first does not entail weakness, but a strategic strength of its own. Let's look at this from two main perspectives.

First, this is war and the stark realities that accompany it exceed any form of emotional overlays.

Both sides have suffered damages and irreparable losses. This current cessation of hostilities is a breather that Iran, particularly, needs. Just as the US is using this window to replenish its lost and destroyed assets in the region, Iran has not only restore some critical infrastructure but also regroup its ranks, refine tactics and strategies, and brought in new arsenals from China and Russia. The more it wait out the enemy's first strike, the better and stronger it preparations and strike back capabilities becomes.

Furthermore, while a resumption of fighting is now a foregone conclusion, barring a taco from Dumbo Trump, anything short of tactical nukes means the US will only end up repeating the same cycle of failures like we saw in the first round. On this note, Iran's decision to not strike first is a calculated strategy.

Moreover, a resumption of war does not serve Iran economically. Yes, this has become a war of necessity, but not of its own choice, but one that was forced on it by the enemy --- a dying empire desperately scrambling to stymied its economic rival (China) in hope of retaining its hegemony. Tehran needs to get past this stagnant stage in their economic life, fix the people's living standard. To do this requires money and stability. Hence, we see Iran currently seeking a permanent end to the war, not just some negotiated truce that will not guarantee no further fighting in the future.

Secondly, Iran's rule of engagement are based on stringent principles of legality and morality. By chosing not to strike preemptively, Tehran is showing the entire world that it does not intend to, has never been, and will not be the aggressor. Thus, should war restarts today, it would be the enemy that broke the peace and called for blood. This moral grandstanding enables Iran to retain and attract more support. It's the reason why the entire Internet was crawling with huge supports for Iran and hatred for USreal during the first round. Is the reason for the "no king" protest in the US, and protest in Israel. And it's part of the reasons why US European allies and even people within Trump's inner circle refused to support the US because Iran, as they said openly, was no direct and immediate threat to them.

What's more? I dare say this Iranian principle of engagement closely aligns with and reflect divine laws. Of course, I understand that some of us here will dismiss this notion as some religious nonsense but its not. There are unwritten, cosmic rules that governs the universe, and whether we believe it or not doesn't change the fact. Human conducts under specific circumstance, and certain intervals determine when and how these rules respond as an equalizing factor of justice and punishment.

For instance, when biblical Israel, Judah and Edom ganged up against the king of Moab and besieged it, he took his heir to the throne and offered him as a sacrifice on the city wall. That single act triggers a divine wrath against the invading forces and all of them went back from whence they came. (2 Kings 3:27).

What does that mean? It means a pure sacrifice, uncommon valour and high moral standing even from a heathen could yield unexpected and surprising results.

Today, what have we?

Iran is the ONLY country in this world that had the guts to punch back, knock off some teeth and tell the US empire and its Israel Zionist pet project to go hug a transformer. Iran is the ONLY country to stand up for the innocent people of Gaza and Lebanon on the battlefield. Iran paints its missiles with inscriptions like "for the victims of Epstein Island," "for the mothers and children of Gaza," and so on. That's pure moral grandstanding, and it's no surprise that the missiles are finding their targets everywhere in Israel. Their quality aside, the cosmic hand of the just can't help but guide them to their destination. The divine does not take sides with the aggressor. So, I elate that Iran continue on this pact of not attacking first. cool

Lastly, another strength that comes with Iran not attacking first is that it takes from the US and gives to Iran the strategic patience needed to win on the long haul.

The only chance Iran has to win against the US and Israel is a war of Attrition, which the current US army in the region isn't designed for. A preemptive strike will defeat that purpose. As Tehran waits, it keeps the enemy waiting as well, making guesses and forcing them to waste money in maintaining those huge ships and other assets in the region. This allows Iran to clarify the right approach, pinpoint their locations, reassign target codes and wait for the perfect moment to hit decisively should the need arise.

To conclude, while there is something to gain from a preemptive strike, Iran has more to gain from chosing not to strike first so long as they remain capable of hitting back harder.

Just my thoughts.
While I clearly respect your thought process, I still maintain my stance that an unpredictable IRAN is far better than a predictable one.

The only excuse IRAN needed to continue their onslaughter happened over a month ago when they where attacked unprovoked and a lot of people where killed including over 160 school children and dozens of high profile leaders just in the first hour alone.

It seems a lot of us have quickly forgotten how cruel the U.S. can be during hostilities against its enemies, and history has shown that REAL negotiations do not end any war the U.S. started. Rather, it is when the situation becomes unfavorable, with no end in sight and their goals becoming unachievable, that they pack their bags and try to get anything from the negotiation table to save face.

You cannot talk about morality during war especially not when the enemy is the united states.

So IRAN must be unpredictable and strike preemptively. Heaven will not fall and the U.S and Israel love their lives so much that the use of nukes is completely forbidden and will lead to the end of the world as you know it.

Winter is coming and round 2 might end before it starts. Increased inflation and interest rates are pins for the debt bubble economies of the west.

Pentagon saying they are vulnerable to hypersonic missiles ( very obvious now after Iran destroyed most radar systems) while Ukraine is shooting them down.

Reality strikes again.

Iranian oil is sanctioned. You buy their oil the world boycotts and punishes you. China is the hungry one for oil ,it's impossible to prevent it from buying the oil The dark fleet of oil tankers docks at no ports They transfer the oil offshore to flagged ships with insurance. Ports don't accept ships without insurance especially oil tankers. Who'll pay for cleanup if a spill happens. Ships will boycott such ports
UAE has closed the money transfer shops for Iran. Chinese tankers would load the oil offshore (Ship to ship transfer from sanctioned tankers );then deposit money I to these UAE shops . That's not happening now.

The author details what happens if storage is full. Long term damage to Iranian economy .
Iranian missiles are useless when it comes to oil wells being shut down.
Iranian missiles won't make UAE receive and transfer Iranian money.
Iranian missiles won't make seaports accept their sanctioned fleets.
Iranian missiles won't force Lloyd's of London $ consortiums insure their dark fleets.

Mikasaobi:
Good write up, but tell the author that it doesn’t apply to reality.

Most of the naval blockade is happening online, they don’t come close to ships escorted by the IRGC. Even western media is reporting that tanker ships are going through.

What you and the author don’t realise is that all the ships in the so called blockade are within range of Iran’s anti shipping missiles and drones. When the shooting starts they will all run away from the battlefield like they did before. If you doubt this then ask the author why the USA couldn’t impose a blockade during the war.

The USA lost the war, they didn’t achieve any objective, begged for a ceasefire and extended the ceasefire because Iran didn’t care. Iran is not even thinking of a preemptive strike because they are very confident in winning round 2.

Even if the USA build up forces for 6 months it won’t make any difference. Everyone knows they will run out of missiles in 2-3 months and beg for another ceasefire, so why sweat it.

Taco and 🤡🤡 can act like they won and pretend the blockade is working if it makes you feel good, but you’re fooling no one.

⚡UAE says it will quit OPEC and OPEC+

This means the UAE can pump more oil independently.

It also weakens OPEC+ control and signals more tensions with Saudi Arabia.
Hmmmmmmmm.
Nice move by the e US.
They noticed a mistake they never envisaged in the initial war were Iran threatened to raise oil price above normal thereby affecting the US economy and the world at large.
By UAE pulling out from opec and ready to pump as high as possible to keep the price of oil down no matter how long the war goes, it gives the US the breathing room to be able to fight for long with oil price down and Russia not profiting from the high oil price the war may cause.
