This is huge. Big kudos to Ojulari for completing this project. It basically means that there will be more gas usage for electricity. Power plants can now raise their capacities due to gas availability. Another promise made, promise kept. Next is the completion of the AKK gas line. |

A lot of moribund powerplant in the north will spring up once this pipeline gets to the north. It will also help factories operating in the north |

Parachoko:You people like stealing what does not belong to you. The gas pipeline started in 2016, with contract awarded in 2012. Contract awarded by Jonathan, began construction by Buhari. This administration was just there when it crossed the hurdle. |

So Nigeria is still paying for ineffective and inefficient agency, the refinery staff should be downsized since it's no longer operational ![]() |

RhinoChest:Wait for obidients to cone and call this white elephant project and the north doesn't need gas insfrastructure yet, tinubu should concentrate on bringing down price of rice and return subsidy like Nigeria is all about rice......he should create jobs as if its ghosts that are being employed in projects like this and many others. |
| Re: NNPC Complete OB3 Gas Pipeline River Niger Crossing, Boost Energy Supply by Lithiumite: 7:59am On May 01 |
donleo92:What effects do you want to see in pipes still being dug in the ground, isn’t it common men like yourself that are being employed for this project and many others going on around the country, transport and construction logistics companies are busy, food sellers and retailers are too, this project alone has its own economic system built around it......go and tell those common men to ask tinubu to stop the project and see wetin dem go do u. |

Rareoil:So its the money GEJ/buhari kept since 2012 that is being used today to fund it or its your own money......if those previous govt especially gej was as committed, it would have been completed by now......instead of you to be happy this govt isn't abandoning a pdp project according to you , you rather condemn tinubu just because he defeated you in 23. |
| Re: NNPC Complete OB3 Gas Pipeline River Niger Crossing, Boost Energy Supply by Rareoil(m): 8:13am On May 01 |
Lithiumite:The project was funded by NNPC under the decade of gas initiative during the Buhari administration and so cannot be abandoned by tinubu. |

Rareoil:Project awarded in 2012 that is 14 to 15years ago and yet two administrations couldn't complete the project for over 10years. Someone decide to push for it completions, you're still bitter about it. |
| Re: NNPC Complete OB3 Gas Pipeline River Niger Crossing, Boost Energy Supply by Image123(m): 8:28am On May 01 |
That is massive if true. Good one. Okay, it's the River Niger crossing part of the project. Still good progress anyway. |
| Re: NNPC Complete OB3 Gas Pipeline River Niger Crossing, Boost Energy Supply by Rareoil(m): 8:31am On May 01 |
OpSystem:tinubu administration did not push anything, it was started in 2016 and will be finished in august of this year. All the work was done by NNPC and much of it during the buhari administration. same thing with the AKK gas pipline which is almost done, they all were planned in Jonathan administration and started in Buhari administration you want to carry another man's work as your own. ![]() |

Parachoko:See wetin? Until price of commodities drop until common man confirm your work as a president you re a failure. Late Yaradua and Goodluck (first 4 years) is an example. So long Nigeria is concerned Tinubu has failed. Only his party members and those working for him benefit |

Rareoil:Lolz, confident ignorance in display. You don't know how government works. If a government stops a project or withdraws funding, it can't be completed automatically. You probably don't know why 3 to 5 year project becomes incomplete or abandoned even after 20years. Don't be blind. |

Image123:Again this $700M project is funded by NNPC balence sheet ie from oil proceeds, how do you withdraw funding from that. you can only force NNPC not to continue construction. |

RhinoChest:Congratulations to Ojulari on his father's gas, abi?. I am slowly beginning to understand why Nigeria cannot make progress. Everyone is busy scavenging things that don't belong to them. That's what this is. SE and SS oil and gas is being stolen and piped hundreds and eventually thousands of miles away, and what do they get in return?. Railways and new bridges in the north-west and south-west: what exactly are the regions that produce the national wealth getting in return?, Nothing. A few days ago, the Enugu-Onitsha road was all the talk. The usual Igbo gaslight, yet this government is not even responsible for its financing. That project is financed under an MTN tax concession arrangement brokered by the Buhari administration. The construction, or rather repair, of the 70-kilometre road has been ongoing for more than six years. When it comes to SE projects, it has to be a some shady arrangement, like with Akanu Ibiam Airport. But there's always money to be spent in Lagos and the north-west in search of votes. While we're at it, what is the status of the clean-up of Ogoni land?. |

Rareoil:So buhari is no longer Apc ? This project was started by apc and will be completed by apc . Imagine saying they awarded contract in 2012 and yet gej and pdp did not mobilise contractor for good 3 years before he left office , you guys assume everyone is dull like you on this forum. |

Image123:The amount of loans collected together with our IGR should have done more that’s my point sir. He has failed. The politicians live large far larger than they re supposed to in a country trying to rise again. Until the common start to feel it. Don’t reply in his promises, loan debts is piling too |

Lithiumite:So at the end of the contract or building, the common man would return to the state of unemployment and the local food vendor would have to relocate and start looking for another government project site baa ![]() The color of your problem is green, I know that but problem of your color is what I don't know ![]() So after the project, everybody go chop the one way you make, and wait for another one.... And don't forget you are gonna be taxed like crazy ![]() |
| Re: NNPC Complete OB3 Gas Pipeline River Niger Crossing, Boost Energy Supply by Image123(m): 11:53am On May 01 |
zinowealth:Pensioners, university students and people using roads are common people too. There's no loan spent for consumption, payment of debt or living large. All the loans have been to improve infrastructure that we refused to build since the 60s. |

Gas from Imo and Rivers crossing Delta State to Edo, to supply Lagos, Kaduna and Kano. One region producing, yet it's people are marginalized. Fiscal federalism now, Tinubu you won on the federalism/regionalism mantra. |

So how much are you buying gas? Who did this to Nigerians? How do you interpret these corrupt acts of stealing? You'removing gas to others while the owners can barely afford it and you're talking trash. So how does this so-called project affect you, tell me Parachoko: |
