Government after Government has been vilified,castigated and branded as the worst, so PBAT's own won't be the 1st nor the last.

My joy is that PBAT is the 1st to do what all his predecessor couldn't do and watching those who had previously bleed 9ja dry can't do more that try to fuel the inbred hate in the heart of some set of Nigerian for their country.

The SC asked them to go back to the FHC. The case will continue. Any decision taken by Mark and company if they lose Zamfara situation will happen to them even if they win any election. There's nothing to celebrate here. Any politician contesting under ADC is gambling. The mines are laid.

According to the affidavit filed by INEC official, the commission received a letter from ADC on July 4, 2025, inviting it to monitor the party’s NEC meeting scheduled for July 29, 2025, at its global campus in Abuja.

INEC officials attended and monitored the meeting, after which they submitted a report at the commission’s headquarters. The report confirmed that during the NEC meeting, changes were made to the party’s leadership, with Mark appointed as Caretaker/interim National Chairman and Aregbesola as National Secretary pending a valid convention.

Following this development, INEC updated its website to reflect the new leadership, including the full list of national officers.

The affidavit further argues that:
* The NEC meeting had already been held.
* The former leadership resigned and new officers were appointed.
* INEC has already recognized and published the new leadership.

It also states that:
* A court injunction cannot stop actions that have already been completed.
* The matter concerns internal party affairs.
* Courts generally do not interfere in such political questions unless it involves party primaries.

In essence, INEC is saying the issue is already settled administratively and falls within the party’s internal processes, not something for the court to reverse at this stage.

No it didn't affirm Mark's faction. It only says that it monitored the Congress that brought the Mark faction into office which doesn't legitimize it when the foundation is faulty. If it was siding with Mark, it would have asked the court to strike the case down.

The supreme court did declare Mark the authentic chairman. If you can learn to read between the lines and decipher coded language.

The supreme court nullified a decision from the court of appeal which is a higher appellate court to the high courts.

The FHC cannot come to any other decision when and if it hears the case again. Only people who support evil are opposing the supreme court judgement.

If this news is anything to go by, there is no where where it stated that Mark was declared the authentic leader of the party rather the case was sent back to trial court for determination. The case is still open. It can still go either way.

The Supreme Court has made it clear that INEC should not obey any court order at all regarding the internal affairs of a party. Simply because it is INEC's prerogative to be the arbiter.

You got it wrong. Supreme court is saying no court and not even the INEC has the power to interfere in the internal issues of a democratic party, you know why? BC the party itself is governed by its own constitution. Of course if the courts are not permitted to, why would INEC be doing it? INEC has her own responsibility but not in arbitrating on internal affairs of a party. If it's still hard for you to get, ask a lawyer to explain more.

Looks to me like nobody in ADC has sense,why celebrate when there's already another high court judgement nullifying ADC convention. The best thing for these displaced ADC people is to look for another platform.

Since you want to educate me, how do you remove the bottlenecks in that part of the constitution? What did ADC constitution say about changing the constitution of the party? You do it without all stakeholders on board? Even ADC had issues with the previous National Chairman whose tenure had expired. Maybe you have not been following ADC before now.

Still doesn't change the fact that ADC David Mack didnt plan very well. When I buy simple land, I record the handover signing of documents and signatures. How do you take over a party and also want to take over the State Chapters without negotiation
..reason Ireti Kingibe was removed by Abuja chapter only to be reinstated by David Mack and the Ward Chairman removed.
