SonOfDSoil01:You mean that 3 groups came together to make a decision on a key issue. 2 groups say it was okay, and only one says it's not okay. Everyone accepted the decision of the ONE group as against the position of the other two? Make una dey use common sense sometimes na. |

SuperEagles:Second Niger Bridge was started and completed by a Fulani man from Daura. What has the "turn of the South" president done for the other South outside of Lagos and his region? |

SuperEagles:You have shown your bias already for people who from Abakaliki or Upper Iweka, who are fellow Nigerians like you are. The banter is now over, I was thought to engage in quality talks, not ethno-religious jingoism. |

Good move. We cannot do without massive infrastructure, a gateway to substantial development. However, the contract sum of N548bln is huge. Compare this with the N750bln for the MMIA airport in Lagos and 2nd Niger bridge. |

integrity16:The highest oil revenue is gotten from other states but share across board with little percentage for the owners as bribe while non oil generated in Lagos due to skewed structures should be given to Lagos alone and rest should rest. You rest. |

AMINDA:What does the South brings to the table to warrant such massive investment into their states? Lagos alone can pay up the loan in years to come without affecting the Economy of Lagos. |

AlabiKILLER2023: John snow……see him taking pride in his ignorance😂😂😂😂 Lagos produce more oil than the 2cup of oil generated from your 5plot region, not to talk of non oil sector which is even shared to handicapped states in your region……make Una Dey try research before rushing to SM to display your ignorance ![]()

SmartPolician: why are you clowns so slow? Just in a desperate attempt to absolve Azikwe of the blame and always blame everyone else for your woes while it was clearly stated in my post how Azikiwe championed the exclusion of secession and further made it a treasonable offence which was backed by the colonial masters there was little Awolowo and ahmadu bello could do in that instance since we were still indirectly under their control……was that to hard to comprehend? ![]() |

Originalsly:Government dey talk say, every international and local contractor who took a look at the bridge said it can't be repaired But you sit down in the comfort of your house, and telling the government it shouldn't be destroyed |

[quote author=AMINDA post=139265420]Lagos again. Nothing for the other South? This "turn of the South" is looking skewed o. Anyways, the other part of the South claims they are not desperate for the presidency and are succeeding without being president but their unborn children will not be exempted from paying these loans for projects that are sited in Lagos. [From your tribalistic comment people would think there are no plenty people from South East and South South living and making a living in Lagos that will benefit from the bridge. Most of you, especially Igbos have a serious problem with tribalism and hatred for the SouthWest. But you people wont stop trooping to Yorubaland to live and trade. This is why no region in Nigeria trust you people enough to hand over the presidency to you. You people can be so ungrateful and hateful.] |

The joke is on the poster above me. Accusing others of hatred while they openly perpetrate it against others. Okay, Southeasterners should all relocate to Lagos in order to use the infrastructure that are being built with our collective patrimony. This was the list of projects approved by the FEC yesterday. Does this list look fair to you?

SMerchant:What Lagos generates to the federal pulse is also shared to every state. Lagos doesn't get 13 derivation funds like the niger Delta states. So I say again REST! |

Basic123:Does it occur to you that Yorubas will also populate the Southeast today if those number of infrastructure were sited in the East over the years? Why then do you ask them to "go back to their region" every electoral cycle? |
| Re: FG Approves ₦548.98 Billion To Demolish, Rebuild Carter Bridge In Lagos by Basic123: 9:13am On May 01 |
Cj4charles:Yes it is. When the bridge is done. Tell all your family members in Lagos not use it that its for Yorubas alone |

This is how the Federal government have been building Lagos state for decades, by investing in heavy infrastructures before these people who claimed to be very educated came up with lies that Tinubu built Lagos. What an insult on national morality and efforts of every Nigerian tax payer. |

AMINDA:Which infrastructure are you talking about ??.By the way,All this your lame anti-yoruba narratives will not make Atiku the president through Igbo votes. If you Love them so much, ask Atiku to step down for peter OBI |

Heffalump:Who is rebuilding it now ![]() No be Tinubu again. Apart from MMIA rehabilitation,Lagos-Calabar road and this project. MENTION ONE PROJECT CARRIED OUT BY FG ON LAGOS SOIL SINCE 1993(30YEARS AGO). FG left Lagos to rot!...Thank God for Tinubu and his boys By the way, when the bridge is done.Tell your family members residing in Lagos not to use the bridge because its for Yorubas. You guys will claim you dominate Lagos population, but when a project that will benefit you people is being done in the same Lagos, yoj will be angry! |

Basic123:This goes beyond Atiku or Obi. Tinubu should make his presidency truly about the "South." Buhari did the same across the entire North. There was no segregation. He even delivered the monumental Second Bridge to the East.

no body is holding you from going………blame Azikiwe for shortsightedness for not including secession clause in the constitution when awolowo and Ahmadu bello called for the inclusion but rather made it a treasonable offence……..the only way out now is to lobby your reps in the NA to sponsor a bill for referendum and move back to your region while you at it, so the rest of us can take you seriously…….enough with the cries already
