To Boost Operational Capacity Psalm 150:6 KJV [6] Let every thing that hath breath Praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD The Lagos State Security Trust Fund has reinforced its commitment to strengthening security operations with the presentation of 80 anti-riot kits to the Rapid Response Squad Lagos. The kits were formally handed over on behalf of the Executive Secretary/CEO, Dr. Ayodele Ogunsan, by the Director of Administration, Mr. Adegbola Lewis, to the Deputy Commander of RRS, SP Ayo Oyebade on behalf of the RRS Commander, CSP Shola Jejeloye. In his brief remarks, Mr. Lewis reiterated the Trust Fund’s continued support for security agencies in Lagos, noting that the provision of modern operational gear remains critical to effective policing and crowd control. The donation is expected to enhance the capacity of the RRS in managing civil disturbances and maintaining public order, further contributing to the safety and security of residents across Lagos State.

Godspowerpro:Kindly correct me if I’m wrong. I’m genuinely open to learning. Why does it often feel like police equipment and operational gear are driven more by donations than by structured funding? From contributions by Dangote to interventions by the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSETF), one begins to wonder if these donations didn’t exist, would our police still be adequately equipped to function effectively? At what point do we ask whether this is support… or a system quietly relying on goodwill to fill critical gaps? |

fuckJones:I am interested in seeing the cost because I just made research online and I discovered that this stuff from China will cost 16m - 40m depending on if it will have ballistic protection like grenades. Let’s assume they bought the high end one and with shipping and tax maybe everything gets to 60m. I won’t be suprise if close to a billion naira is spent on this |
