Yunusa Tanko Releases Press Statement Issued By Obidient Movement by chopnaira(op): 6:36pm On May 02
Reassuring The Public: A Call For Calm and Patience

The Obidient Movement acknowledges the growing concerns and widespread reports regarding recent political developments in the political landscape and evolving engagements with current and potential partners.

We wish to reassure all supporters and members of the movement across Nigeria and in the diaspora that His Excellency, Peter Gregory Obi, is currently engaged in extensive, high-level consultations with key stakeholders, political allies, and aligned movements. These engagements are focused on determining the most strategic and effective path forward in the best interest of the Nigerian people and our shared mission to build a New Nigeria.

As a movement founded on integrity, accountability, and active citizen participation, we remain dedicated to ensuring that every decision taken reflects our values and long-term vision for the country. These consultations are deliberate, thorough, and guided by the overriding objective of securing a future that works for all Nigerians.

We urge all Obidients to remain calm, patient, and focused. Do not be swayed by speculative reports. Peter Obi remains fully committed to this mission and will, in due course, formally address the Obidient Movement and the general public to provide clarity on the current situation and the direction ahead.

Our strength lies in our unity and focus.

Let us remain steadfast as we await further communication.

Signed

Obidient Movement

God bless HE Peter Obi
God bless all Obidients Worldwide.

Shame be upon the people (APC) that have drowned Nigeria in poverty and debt.

Amen.

Same format but now heading to a different party!

When ever Peter wants to commence the usual prostitution, he starts by claiming he is doing high level talks. He then will continue to tell you that, after high level talks, he has chosen another party.

Same format!

What is the format of a notorious drug baron, identity thief, and certificate forger who has plunged this country into unprecedented debt, inflicted untold hardship, fueled hunger, worsened insecurity, and left Nigerians in darkness?

I keep on asking myself how is Obi going to appoint Ministers and Special Advisers and Aides

Do you want him to use the format of
Snatch it
Grab it
Run away with it
Or he should pay Mah**od or A*up*tan to create artificial glitches to ensure elections are re-written before announcing it at mid mid night?

Our Political party is Peter Obi. Anywhere he leads we follow. Anybody that doesn't like it should use the lagoon.
Peter Obi, the nightmare of Tinubu and his urchins.

The communiqué didn’t address anything. The real question is: are Obi and Kwankwaso leaving ADC for NDC or not? That’s what we want to hear and not all these rhetorical press releases.

The further communication must be OBI must not decamp from ADC because of primary election.

How these folks went from being together in a coalition to scattering in different places need to be studied for a PhD course
A it is now, it's obvious Obi does not seem to have a clear plan
If you ask me, his best bet is still deputising Atiku
This Kwankwaso gamble will lead to nowhere
Kwankwaso cannot be trusted to fully support the ticket and mobilise fully
Remember Atiku in 2019

Noted.

I just don’t understand why Obi failed to capitalise on his 2023 achievements to register a political party for his followers.

If Obi leaves ADC and decamps to Ndc then he's what People call him, a chameleon.

A good leader doesn't jump from one party to another in desperation for power. He won't be a good president .

If he's banking on his online mobs, who don't vote in real life to win election, he's just deceiving himself, even with kwankwaso on the ballot. They will come third again like in 2023. An Atiku and makinde ticket will floor them cos people in south west will never vote for them. Mk dem dey play

What is Obi's personal merit please?
Finished Bsc third class in six years. His degree has no hons attached to it.

Can hardly put coherent thoughts together to answer questions. Covers this up with stories of Malaysia, Indonesia, China and I have only one shoes.

Has no clear professional track record apart from his trading business.

His English is so much influenced by ethnic accent in spite of his comfortable upbringing. I have watched him several times.
