lionshare:pastor Adeboye is a pathological liar. Either that or he has dementia due to old age or severe amnesia. But am certain he is a liar due to recent claims since after 2015.

Ironfaceman:Let's focus on CAN president to direct for National protest. Let's see if this man of God will be seen outside. I believe in God but these men of God are not to be trusted. No wonder we are advised to look unto Jesus Christ. |

Baba Adeboye, stop lying.. There was no way Ayo Oritsejafor the CAN Chairman would have given the instructions to protest against GEJ, his good friend. You protested against GEJ, because you are bigoted.. Events have exposed you and your pro-APC church for what you are. You are losing members in droves within and outside your region, now you are trying to salvage the situation by giving reflective explanation. All liars go to hell. Did you lie? Yes you did. Will you go hell? The punishment for false prophecy and misleading your sheeples is there in the bible for you to read. You have proven to be not of God. |

It is pity that most Nigerians over the years have been easy gullibles for many fake, so called, men of God. But, no matter how long and happy you've maneuvered your easy prey followers, Almighty God's judgement day is SURE. Papa Adeboye SIR, you are a tribalist. Core ONE. No doubt about that. |

Addressing his past involvement in public protests, Adeboye explained that his actions were in obedience to directives from the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN). “That was because the then chairman of CAN asked all Christians to go out for a peaceful protest. If he talks tomorrow and asks me to march, I will,” he said, adding that he operates under the authority of CAN on national Christian matters. @bold, but now the CAN suddenly went silent. Fiest the cause of the miserable protest was because of subsidy removal and insecurity right..! Before subsidy removal fuel was about 65 per litre After subsidy removal in 01/01/2012 fuel went to about 141 per litre After protests and partial reversal fuel went down to about 97 per litre meaning it did not went down to its former pump price. What this means in context is that the protests which Tinubu supported at the time were mainly against the jump from 65 to 141 which later dropped to 97 per litre. The same tinubu that protested that fuel went from 65 to 141 took power in 2023 when fuel was 185+ and took it up to 1,245+ depends on location. Today same CAN went mute, shayo tinubu is telling Nigerians probably APC members should be patient with his papa . Fuel is 1,245+ today but the same people don't want protest of any form ![]() |

That is what happens when you get involved in partisan politics. You will have to explain and explain and explain yourself. But when you limit yourself to governance, you can freely express yourself and be consistent over time. Because sir, most of the things you spoke about have become substantially worse today and you cannot speak up because your stance then was political and I hazard to say driven by the very thing you spoke about the water and oil mixture of church and state. So just be like me and support no one but everyone, the citizens of this country in their quest for a better life. Then you will need not explain your thoughts, your words and your actions. |

adamkkk:Go and get your facts right before calling him a liar. The protest then was 2020 and that was during Buhari tenure. The CAN President then is Rev.Dr Supo Ayokunle. |

lionshare:So a man of his level is waiting for someone else to tell him to be responsive before he would? You claim to be a leader of rccg members which many under the umbrella of the church are also facing the same hardship, insecurity amongst others like people from other churches and faiths, yet you will not move to tell the government how bad their policies are because according to you, someone has not asked you to speak out. All the people being killed and kidnapped in different churches don't matter to him and he will not accept to |

Mattswaggz:Assume is true? Go home and ask your elders. They will tell it's true. The question is why the double standard? Why are you people all of a sudden now want to blame the President but when Jonathan was in power, it was the fault of those that want to make his govt look bad? Hypocrites. |
