mrvitalis:I keep telling them this. Humility isn't the same as stupidity. Obi can buy jets if he so wishes but remains humble. Kwakwanso will rather split Tinubu's votes in the north. With Kwakwanso as obi's running mate, he will have a lion's share in the northern votes while atiku and tinubu will take the rest. Obi will comfortably sweep the south and middle belt. Where will tinubu, Mr failure now stand here? There's no doubt he'll get some votes in some states in our region, except lagos shaa. We're not hungry people. We will shun his rice and money again as we did on 2023. |

I sincerely think they both are making the right decision to quit ADC for Atiku. Lol. I have said it before, ONLY Tinubu can tackle Atiku with dollar-2-dollar. Atiku would have defeated Buhari in 2014 if not for Tinubu. Atiku said it himself that only Tinubu has more money to spend then him. Lol. People like Atiku are meant to be defeated again and again till they are tired before they learn to step aside to restrategize. Atiku definitely wont win the next election. He was banking on Obi's additional votes, but now that it is a gold for him to get, he will pay seriously to get it. Cos what will make Obi step down even in another party will be so costly compared to when Obi is in a party David Mark decides to be Atiku's person. Lol. Obi should have seen it earlier. Definitely, they will still try to romance him so Obidients can vote for Atiku. Lol. But this Obi that I am seeing no go green. Lol. In a nut shell....emilokan till 2031. What a pity? Lol. Anyway, like I always end my posts when commenting on the next election....Tinubu, Obi, Atiku, & Kwankwaso are all not able to make Nigeria great again. We have not yet gotten the right guy for Nigeria. |

sleek214:Capital NO. They are working against Atiku. Atiku will be 81 years next year. He should quit and support Obi and Kwankwaso. If not, Tinubu continues. OK under ADC with Atiku's backing is a sure banker. If not, then let them all become selfish. Right now, i don't even care anymore. |

Eriokanmi:Joker. How many states in the North did kwakwaso win in 2023 when he contested for president? He won only in Kano. Now, as VP how many state in the North do you think he can win? I can tell you that Kano is not sure for him. |

Basic123:If the Labour party, PDP, NNPP and several others have been allowed to thrive by Tinubu, would Atiku, Obi and Kwankwaso have any reasons to be leaving their 2023 platforms? Of course we blame Tinubu. Only the naïve or the deliberately obtuse would claim not to see his efforts in undermining our democracy. |

Obi has the right to go to any party that would give me the presidential ticket. His is right. And he will give Tinubu a run for his money and rigging prowess |

NDP as a new party has been involved in court cases since last year. The registration was as a result of a court order and since then Ardo, a supporter of Atiku and a member of ADC, has taken the party to court that it was not properly registered. Later, instead of facing Ardo and Atiku, many will start shouting that it is the government. I don't know why politicians do not make due diligence on steps they take. This is because most politicians in Nigeria are intellectually lazy, like most Nigerians. A research into the political parties in Nigeria shows that most of them have been having leadership and court cases before the 2023 election. Is that the fault of the present government? As far as 2022, ADC had more than ten cases in court, likewise Accord, Labour, SDP, NNPP and some others. Three new parties were registered, why is Obi and Kwakwanso not moving to any of the other two that do not have court cases. There are more than ten other old parties without court cases. Why are they not moving to any of them? Governor Bala Mohammed has just joined the Allied People's Movement Party, one of the old parties without any court case. Influencers, journalists and lawyers are supposed to bring this out now but many of them have keyed in to a particular agenda setting. They end up intentionally misinforming the populace. |

If this happens, then tinubu has won because they are going to share votes or have a run off like what happened in south africa. It's God that positions anyone to be the king. Being Nigerian president has never favored atiku and age is no more on his side. Let's see how it plays out. ADC is still embroiled in court cases and it may not end well due to interest of APC to scuttle which is part of politics. |

ADC is about to be a ghost party like LP. Anyways, this disruption is about to help the dreadful APC win. Their biggest strength is in the discord of the opposition |

idonhammer:This is good news for APC. Obi won't get 90% votes in SE in 2027, he won't also win Lagos. Even with Makinde as Atiku's running mate, ADC won't with Oyo or any state in the South. Atiku saw it coming, reason he underestimated Kwankwaso electoral influence/popularity in Northern Nigeria. |

Shezy001:No no no ...don't go there.... If you observed what happened clearly , you will see that they couldn't make him to join them until they declared who their party chairman should be, and since Peter Obi saw that David Mark is from North, he believed that automatically, the Presidency cant go back to North as well, that's the only reason he joined the party..... But look at what Atiku is using dollar to do, the same thing Tinibu did in APC primaries , these two old people including the late Buhari believe they should be Presidents of Nigeria before Peter Obi can think of it ..... |
| Re: Obi, Kwankwaso Quit To ADC For NDC Today by Mkairbag: 2:11pm On May 03 |
The rise of Peter Obi and the Obedient Movement marked a powerful shift in Nigeria’s political landscape. For the first time in a long while, many young Nigerians felt a sense of ownership in the democratic process. The energy, the mobilization on social media, and the desire for change showed that Nigerian youth are no longer apathetic. That in itself is significant. However, enthusiasm alone is not enough to build a nation. There is a growing concern that the same youth who are energized are not asking the right questions. It is understandable that many are dissatisfied with the current administration under Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Economic hardship, insecurity, and governance challenges have created frustration. But dissatisfaction should not replace critical thinking. Nigeria has been here before. In 2015, many Nigerians.especially young people. rallied behind Muhammadu Buhari with high hopes for change. The dominant narrative then was also about replacing the incumbent, not necessarily scrutinizing the alternative deeply enough. Today, the outcome of that decision is widely debated, and many feel the expectations were not met. That moment should have been a lesson in political responsibility. Yet, it appears history may be repeating itself. A troubling trend in current political discourse is the “anything but Tinubu” mindset. While the desire for change is valid, choosing leadership based solely on opposition rather than evaluation can lead to unintended consequences. Leadership is not just about being different. it is about being prepared, competent, and accountable. The Obedient Movement has shown what is possible when youth unite. But unity without interrogation is risky. Nigerian youth must go beyond slogans and emotional support. They must demand clarity on policies, question track records, and critically assess the capacity of any aspirant seeking the presidency, including Peter Obi or anyone else. The future of Nigeria depends not just on participation, but on informed participation. If the youth truly want lasting change, they must resist the temptation of blind support and instead embrace constructive scrutiny. Asking the right questions today is the only way to avoid regret tomorrow. |

sisisioge:You clearly understood their prayers.... because assuming Atiku allowed Peter Obi/ Kwankwaso in ADC, that will give many people that force to know they are fighting APC to be flushed out.... So Atiku has always been a mole against removing APC, don't be surprised that Atiku will one day become President of Nigeria under APC. .... |
