I don’t think this was a wise move but time will tell. Nigerians gave Obi a party with no Senators, HOR members or Governors on a platter. He couldn’t manage it under the excuse of Tinubu interference. But he forgets Tinubu was once in opposition against FG and found a way to manage his party. You left LP to ADC, no problem, we still followed you, now you have run because of primaries. Firstly, it’s not always who spends the most that will win primaries. I know Atiku is influential but at least show us your ingenuity and intelligence. When you become president things will not always go your way. You will face challenges and opposition. Will you be a president who always runs from challenges or will simply resign? How do you lead a complex country like Nigeria when you couldn’t build LP or survive challenges under Atiku! |

Image123:That is the difference between a Mafian ring leader and a good and refined leader. One thrives on suspicion while the later builds on trust. PO and tinubu are not from the same world. |

MakindeHassan:What about Kwankwaso? He owns NNPP, why is he also running? Why did it take INEC over a year to interpret supreme court judgement on LP? It is clear that APC is using the courts to destabilize political parties. Why is Atiku running when it is southern turn to be president. These are the issues. |

I will not be surprised if the case against ADC leadership is dropped or the case dismissed. With that, viable opposition groups will split their votes just like 2023. |

hush15:Lolz, you still naively blame Tinubu for this? Did we not say this almost a year ago? If your messiah likes, he should not resign properly before joining his next travail. He'll meet himself in court because of electoral reforms. Make dem no go void all him votes as he labours in vain again o. |

fubsy:Why not be surprised that the rescuers of Nigeria talk to themselves and settle their internal differences? Didn’t we scream here on social media that ADC had problems before you joined? Why didn't you either do your due diligence or solve the problems instead of grandstanding, staging silly protests and blaming government? Why did you rush your case to Supreme Court like you don't have competent lawyers or can't pay them? |

Mandate1:Let's hope our people are wiser now. One thing I am sure is that Tinubu second term will be much worse because he has nothing to lose so he would be reckless. Since he decided to sideline all his free thinkers like Fashola, Osinbajo and the likes... |

Congratulations to Tinubu in advance. All what am seeing is a repeat of 2023 election or even worse. Atiku presidential candidates for ADC Obi for NDC Makinde for PDP Tinubu for APC Opposition splitting into 3 and you think Tinubu will not win. |

In this life there are opportunities that present only once. You screw it up and you may spend the rest of your life trying to recreate or chasing after that opportunity but it is gone. The situation the opposition had in 2023 was one of those one time opportunities. To have 14.7m votes and lose to an incumbent with 8.7m because you couldn’t come together is unforgivable, even God won’t give you a second chance. |

| Re: Obi, Kwankwaso Quit To ADC For NDC Today by casualobserver: 3:12pm On May 03 |
ADC primaries is on the 21st. Which means they must have submitted their party register on the 30th April. This means obi and Kwakwanso cannot contest in any other party apart from ADC. |
