casualobserver:I prefer they all contest in ADC than jumping from party to party. Next will be Accord party, AA, PRP and other nonsense parties. It demonstrates lack of substance. If there's no consensus in ADC, Atiku, Obi, Kwankwaso, Amechi and even El Rufai should all contest. The losers should support and back the winner. There's more respect in that than moving to NDC. Note: I actually think an Atiku/Makinde combination will beat Tinubu by a wide margin, if all opposition parties can come together. The nation need a change. |
| Re: Obi, Kwankwaso Quit To ADC For NDC Today by casualobserver: 4:26pm On May 03 |
koning:Nobody Dan defeat Tinubu in 2027. The best combination is Atiku/obi and they will lose. Makinde can’t deliver Oyo state, he has no pull anywhere else in the south. |
| Re: Obi, Kwankwaso Quit To ADC For NDC Today by hush15: 4:45pm On May 03 |
Image123:Ofcourse. I know he is no directly going about it but his nuances and actions are implied. It is just like what he is doing in Osun State. He can say, guys no need to stoop this low. We can do this but making comments like he does, body languages, pretending no to know what's goin on are all implied actions. Swiftly signing laws without review are all implied. This is what emboldens his chief of staff or minister or boys to misbehave. To the boys, they are pleasing the master. To the master, he basically telling them weldone boys. |

TheExclusive:Like I said, only time will tell if this is a good move. Atiku is free to run. Although I don’t support him and can’t understand why he can’t just relax and be a king maker rather than struggle to be king but he has all rights to run. It’s up to Obi to find a way to outsmart him at the primaries despite his deep pockets. Not easy but not impossible and if he does that, it will push Obi’s image as a mature politician who can stand tough challenges. |
| Re: Obi, Kwankwaso Quit To ADC For NDC Today by frog12: 5:09pm On May 03 |
the best decision so far. he has the numbers. no need to work with corrupt big men in ADC |
| Re: Obi, Kwankwaso Quit To ADC For NDC Today by TheExclusive: 5:15pm On May 03 |
MakindeHassan:Obi did the best thing. Sometimes you have to pick your battles. If he stays back and loses, people will still blame him. He has said it that he will not be involved in any monetization of primaries. That is his principle and he has been consistent with that which is good. Atiku should go and rest. North has done 8 years. Obi supported him then. Now is the turn of the south. The supreme court is the most useless court I have seen. They ruled that internal party affairs are not justiceable, so why returning the ADC matter back to the FHC? They are a branch of APC. |
| Re: Obi, Kwankwaso Quit To ADC For NDC Today by koning: 5:17pm On May 03 |
casualobserver:Tinubu that has already lost 90% of northern votes. Where will the win come from. Of course Atiku/Obi will be a landslide. But Obi will never accept to be VP candidate. Hence my mention of Atiku/Makinde. That will still beat Tinubu, but with a lesser margin. Tinubu cannot win next election without rigging by INEC. Do the maths. |

I the Peter obi and Kwankwaso combination is the most interesting in the world of politics, I will like the combination to be tested, atiku can test his own popularity in ADC |

hush15:And these are your reasons why Obi could not think for himself before joining the ADC and now leaving? Body language? Is that the new Nigeria is possible fellow? Possible by being remote controlled by another's perceived body odour? |

Demigod22:Not if he would be alive by then. At what age? That man is actually a novice. After 2023 we saw the indices and told him to team up with Atiku, but his Obident mob advised him otherwise and they will be the end of his political career. |
| Re: Obi, Kwankwaso Quit To ADC For NDC Today by koning: 6:22pm On May 03 |
casualobserver:I can see how much of an intelligent voter you are. Those northern voters you look down on are very political savvy. They put Tinubu in power in 2023. Now, they've turned their back for obvious reasons. Come out clean and endorse Tinubu, instead of playing the Ostrich. |

hush15:What table? Please stop being unnecessarily emotional. We're telling you that your candidate made clear inexperienced mistakes, you're shifting blame and talking about turns. Why did Obi carry himself to ADC when the problems were clear from the get go? Which of the ADC problems is new? Didn’t Obi see these, couldn't he think ahead? Is this the quality of leadership he can offer the country? Someone who said by himself that he runs from trouble, how can he solve Nigeria's many troubles. Is it the same blame game he wants to go and play in Aso Rock? Let’s be reasonable and without bias please. If you cannot see the clear faults in Obi now that's he's still shopping, is it when he's dashed power that you'll see? |
