The Hotel or Apartment owner may be sued by the lodgers for Noise Pollution and harrassment.

Why are you bothered because they're leaving? The owner should be informed since it's his/her instruction. It's his/her business, prayer champions(🤣), and candle. So, be calm if you're cool with the whole thing

Not even one person is remaining, though they have all paid. And will come tmrw to come lay complain to the owners daughter who manages the place but only comes during the day.

According to some of them, they have never seen a thing like that before. And if the owner must do such. She should have set a day aside when we won't take in any lodger and then do whatever prayers they like.

I just pray it won't hinder people from coming to lodge here again.

Who cares? The hotel didn’t lose money. If the action reduces patronage, the owner will reduce prices and demand will follow. When demand rises, she’ll set the price back again.

Making money is easy. Keeping and growing is more difficult cos there are gate keepers in every facet of life.

If you were a lodger, won't you also leave? I think you guys just lost lots and lots of customers. The owner should have been more sensitive knowing fully well that the person coming is not with just his voice and a Bible but one that requires candles and more. Nigerians read on the lines, in between the lines and outside the lines😂

The owner of that hotel is under some hypnosis or is not in her right senses. Why would you have people lodge in your hotel and then ask some people in some garment to come burn candles in the hotel where people have come to relax, enjoy themselves and lay their heads?

Why do some people even act before they think? Has she tried to step into the shoes of this lodgers and even the staff?

I don't want to say what comes to mind before they start saying one is spewing rubbish but we really need to be careful how we do things.

Little did she even know that once you give out a place and collects money on business, that place doesn't belong to you for that period and you could even be sued for misbehaving, intrusion or invading of their privacy at that point in time.

For those saying why do wealthy people still run after Pastors, Alfa & Traditionalist, meaning their source of wealth is not clean.
It's not always how you think about it.
Making money is easy to sustain it that's where the work is.
In this Nigeria, when your competitors are seeing you making money, they look for ways to bring your business down, that's why you have to fortified your self and business spiritually with whatsoever you believe in. Ask those people that sells in market place they understand this.
You will just see your business going down without you knowing the cause of it.

For this hotel owner, the hotel management should have set a day aside to the the prayer since they know that they are going to be burning their candles or doing other sacrifices in the hotel premises.

Whatever the owner's spiritual beliefs are, they do not override the comfort and peace of mind of paying guests. A hotel is a business. When you take someone's money for accommodation, you owe them a peaceful environment, not a spiritual ceremony they did not consent to.

The owner made a business decision without thinking like a businessperson. That is the real problem here.

The solution going forward is simple: spiritual activities in a commercial space must be done privately, discreetly, and never in a way that disrupts paying customers.

Document everything that happened tonight. Let the manager know first thing tomorrow. This is now a business problem that needs a business response, not a spiritual debate.
