Nigeria politicians and their greed for power. The painful part is, they will still have people supporting and singing their praises. You have been to the Senate and you have done 8years as a Governor, what are you still looking for? Was these years not enough to execute your plans for the state? I don't blame this politicians, I blame Nigerians who will receive peanuts from them and start praising and supporting them. Just look at how he was using State money to fund APC because of his personal interest. The money he would have used to do something tangible for the state. All these unnecessary benevolent to the political party and others, hence they don't have enough money to work for the state. Many will still loot too.
He wants to return back to the Senate, are you the only person qualified in that senatorial district?

Unbelievable. Someone please tell me this is a skit. Is this truly what a professor, a two‑term governor, and one time senator is choosing to lament about publicly? This says a lot about the state of leadership in Naija. In his entire statement, there was not a single mention of the people he once governed, only a long list of what he claims to have done for APC. If the issue is a party ticket, nothing stops him from moving to another platform and testing his popularity there. After serving as governor for eight years, one would expect his record to speak for him.

Shame on you sir! I pray that Naija gets rid of shameless and selfish leaders like you. No wonder Naija is where it is today. A former Governor whimpering like a child who just lost his cookies.
