Barring last-minute changes, Senator Gbenga Daniel has finalized defection to NDC to complete the geo- political calculations for NDC, a party that has Obi, Kwankwaso as Chieftains.

Realizing the potential loss of his Senatorial seat in APC, Daniel has realized that he could find a home in NDC and pursue his Ambition.
Talks have advanced to a high level, and NDC has confirmed to welcome the Senatorial aspirant.

Recall that Gbenga Daniel has vowed to work against the APC if he does not secure the Ogun West nomination.
He even went so far as to lambast the Leadership and Elders of the APC in Ogun State for favoring Governor Abiodun's ambition over his.

Political observers are eagerly waiting for his declaration and defection to the NDC.

I am smiling. You want GBenga Daniel in NDC!!!!. Are you sure? Gbenga Daniel is a Tinubu person. Note this , if he joined NDC he is most likely to work with Kwankwaso to derail Obi ambition. If Obi loose NDC nomination that is the end of the party.

If the PDP (especially Obasanjo and Ebele Jonathan) had done just 30% of the road infrastructures that Tinubu is doing now, Buhari would never have dreamt of becoming Nigeria’s President, talk more of ruling for 8 years.

I do not like Tinubu, but whenever I’m traveling from my village in Ijebu-Ode to Lagos or from Lagos back to Ijebu-Ode and I ply that concrete pavement that is being reconstructed by Tinubu, a voice in my head always ask me this question: “Do you think Tinubu will be re-elected for a 2nd term in office? And I always give a resounding YES” answer to that question.

As for Gbenga Daniel, there’s no Awujale that will lobby on his behalf again as he (Awujale) told Lekan Mustapha to step down for him in the last election cycle. This time around, Dapo Abiodun will replace him in the Senate.

In as much as I do not like Dapo, Gbenga Daniel can never accept the rubbish he is trying to do to Dapo.

Lastly, Peter Obi will only become the President of Biafra, never of Nigeria.

You don't know these politicians. Gbenga Daniel is fighting for his senatorial seat which the governor is interested in. Two former governors now contesting for Senate. Do you remember when Amosun went to Buhari to anoint his own candidate different from Abiodun? Are they not all together today now for Yayi? Don't waste your time on politicians. They are only loyal to what they want. The former Power Minister contested under Accord and got Tinubu's support. Wike is from PDP and has his support. Sometimes he will tell you to go and fight for yourself and if you succeed, you have proven yourself.

He has no problem with Tinubu and nope he won’t work for any Obi or Kwankwanso. His problem is Dapo Abiodun who is gunning for his position in the senate. Dapo being the incumbent governor is giving him enough troubles so Gbenga will work for APC in the guber election and also the presidential. If he eventually defects and win, he will return to APC the second day.
