The National Publicity Secretary of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Bolaji Abdullahi, has criticised former presidential candidate Peter Obi, alleging that he showed little interest in the party’s manifesto prior to his recent political move.

Abdullahi made the remarks on Monday during a Prime Time interview on Arise Television.

He was reacting to developments surrounding Obi’s defection to the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), amid ongoing political realignments ahead of future elections.

He said the ADC had invested considerable time in developing its policy direction but claimed Obi did not engage with the process during his association with the party.

“We set up a manifesto committee that worked for about two to three months to develop a document that clearly outlines what we will do differently,” Abdullahi said.

He questioned Obi’s familiarity with the party’s positions on key national issues.

“You may invite His Excellency Peter Obi here and ask him, what is the ADC position on fuel subsidy? What is the ADC’s framework on security? He doesn’t know, because he’s never been interested,” he said.

Abdullahi further alleged that some politicians are more focused on securing party tickets than engaging with ideological frameworks.

“They are just waiting for the tickets to be handed to them. If you say you want to contest election, and you believe in changing the country, you should know what your party stands for,” he added.

If Kwankwaso leaves the party or disagrees with Obi on who is above who. Obi will be left in a party with no know political force to help pull the votes needed for his possible election. This might lead to loneliness and fading away of Obi, unless he goes to another party. Well these days even governors have gone to a small party examples are Adeleke to accord and recently Bauchi State governor.

It's seems Obi don't like primaries or the way party primaries are setup. With NDC I think Obi is solo for now Kwankwaso I am not sure his intentions but Obi is solo right now. NDC is a new party though I don't think it has political bigwigs, its founder is Dickson former Bayelsa State governor but he is not a weight in national politics. Only Obi and Kwankwaso sound as names we all know.

No one knows this NDC (never even heard of them), until Obi went there with Kwakwanso in tow. and suddenly, the NDC is giving APC and its supporters a lot of headache.

The MASSES are with Obi, not just "Obidients" and will vote for him, which ever Party he goes to.

Most People know, but pretend as if they dont know, that it was because of Peter Obi that Labour Party became Popular and won the 2023 Presidential election (though INEC declared only Lagos and Abuja for him).

1. As far back as 2012, when Peter Obi was in PDP, doing houseboy work, LP already produced a Governor.
Despite all of Obi's noise in 2023, his party could only win 1 Governorship seat.

LP has been in existence for over 30years now, [color=#990000]it only won Once, One Single State (Mimiko Governorship in 2007), until Obi joined the Party in 2023 or can you even name the Presidential Candidates of Labour Party, since 1999? [/color]


2. Inec didn't declare only Lagos and Abuja for Obi.
Who won Edo?
Who won Delta?

Who did INEC declare Lagos and Abuja for or did INEC declare these two, most important States in a Presidential Election (according to Nigeria's Constitution), as inconclusive? Please tell me.

Nigerians know what INEC Yakubu did in 2023, he has been rewarded with Ambassadorship by this Government but Nigerians wont allow a repeat of that electoral heist in 2027.
