Good one

Once they start getting too comfortable, transfer them out...not even to any nearby state.

COMRADES, I am yet to understand the debacle in this case, some analysts said that the late victim was a criminal before he was killed by the police, while others said he was innocent
That is not the issue. Reason they're againts it. The issue is he should have his day in court. If he's guilty, he will do the time, but if not he will be free. Now there was no investigation to prove that. A lot of questions to be asked.

Transfer all of them to Sambisa forest. They are greatly needed there 😎

This nothing but cosmetic approach to the police decay in Nigeria.
What is needed is comprehensive reform of NPF
Transfering them and replacing them with the same officers from other states is pouring new wine into old cups
100% agree. I studied details of the wide-ranging reform of the British police force, through the recommendations of the Macpherson report, over the murder of Stephen Lawrence. A black teenager.

The murder was committed by some racist thugs and the police was not involved but found to have handled the investigation poorly.

Yet this is Nigerian police officers directly executing Nigerians for God sake and we cannot see the need for fundamental reform of the NPF?

Of course comprehensive reform is needed or better still expedited creation of State/regional police forces.

It is scary those charged with protecting Nigerians are executing them yet Nigerians are not screaming majorly in protest.

We really have become a people numb and dissentised ove death and killings. I blame 'one Nigeria' for this whereby nothing, from our armed forces to national institution and even educational system, works anywhere near as well as seen elsewhere.

As a businessman, I don't even want to get started talking about how lousy, evilly corrupt and worthless our customs/excise, immigration service and many government institutions are in comparison to those of Ghana etal talk less of those of developed nations.

They are inhumanly devilish, will show you shege, reduce you to tears and are even prepared to ruin your business and livelihood if you don't give them what they want. Demons.

Most Nigerians simply don't appreciate how virtually everything about Nigeria needs to be reformed fundamentally. I.e tear up everything and start from scratch sort of reforms.

Virtually nothing national is even averagely decent let alone commendable in Nigeria. I laugh when Nigerians simplistically think solutions is about individuals I.e Tinubu, Obi, Atiku, Sowoer etal.

Very ignorant belief. Nigeria is not and will never be workable without deep institutional reform predicated on brave and uncompromising constitutional change to end 'one Nigeria' inefficiency that is 100% behind every major problem of Nigeria.

This is why I am an uncompromising fan of regional autonomy so we can all go and create smaller geographical areas that works and are sane as others enjoy worldwide.

Nigeria is a huge crime scene and most Nigerians just don't appreciate this because they have no knowledge of realities elsewhere.

They will be replaced.

Some of them might have spent lots of years at the same command

Make dem carry dem go the Northern part of Borno
Thank you, my thought too is sending them up north, all of them. Where will they practice the shenanigans, is it in kano, maidugry, sokoto or etc? Them no born them well.
You send them down west or east all they will do is corrupt on a higher scale the already corrupt ones here.
That year 2000+ period there was this policeman that was transfered to the Akowonjo area, that man single handedly corrupted all the policemen in the area. His name was Chris. He taught policemen to drive around in buses grabbing and extorting people, things that never happened there before.

So the re-form will take place over night and they should replace all of them at once? You don't even know that transfers are part of reform?
Person wey give you manager don enter one chance.
My brother, transfer is not reform please, let me tell you you can never use wrong to correct wrong doing. In the NPF , transfer goes with allowance to offset expenses one will incur but go and ask them, no dine will be paid to them, they same people claiming to fight corruption are they ones committing it. Police officers wearing name tags and wearing body camera which one is modern
Nigeria is not yet ready to have efficient and effective police. Let's stop all these social media eye services
