Apply, it does not cost you anything. Also most of the A grade universities in UK are usually oversubscribed early in the year, so the earlier the better.

For the split program, you and your UK supervisor will agree on which year of your PhD will be spent in UK, depending on the nature of your research.

Hello, please for the split site PhD . Are we required to still apply to the particular uni in the UK ? Or how does this work ? And if yes , at what point do we send in our application?

for the split PhD, you are to apply to the UK university, either now or after getting the scholarship.

Last year mail drops around early July, interview starts around mid July.

Invitation mails have dropped.

I receive invitation email. For my interview but I am not in Nigeria at the moment. Is it possible for me to have it done online.

Same with me. what is the way out

Me I haven't receive any invitation email, it seems the PTDF scholarship is a scheme to waste people's time and hopes, and at the end they do whatever they like. Year after year PTDF is never transparent, the worst of it is that, I am even offered unconditional admission in the UK.

Actually it's fixed, one year in UK and 2 years in Nigeria. But whether your UK residency will be in your first, second or third year of your PhD, depends on what you and your supervisor agree on.
