raumdeuter:And I am sure there are no properly trained medical personnel on ground. We will eventually get a live concussion or paralysis live streamed which is how we do |

raumdeuter:We know it is about money but it needs to be regulated. We will wait until someone dies live before regulation and enforcement. When Adrenaline disappears, the realities of possible brain trauma will kick in. Dizziness, headache, blurred vision, numbness, slurred speech, unexplained/ unusual behavioral patterns are just a few. Blows to any part of the head and rib areas are no joke. |

raumdeuter:Head gear does not protect against any of the things you are scared of. It has even been banned by the IBA from Olympic boxing and any male elite boxing. Only women and teenage boxing are permitted to use it. |

Roland17:Someone like Portable who smokes Colos and other dangerous synthetic weed is already having his brain fried normally. To think he has participated in at least 3 of those boxing matches.... Anyways, he doesn't behave/act like someone that intends to live long sha. |

GloriousGbola:Wrong, bro you are still looking at it through a local event lens. That last match was sponsored and streamed worldwide by DAZN. They were about 8 professional boxing matchups featuring even some international fighters before the Carterefe vs Portable fight. Everything was well regulated and planned. Kudos to Carterefe and all involved in making it a success.

Spy360:Times change and you deal with the challenges of your time, when our parents dey graduate some of them dey get jobs and official car immediately, Nowadays none of that exist again, In the 70s you dont need a visa to travel to many first world countries, Now you need more than a visa You either deal with the challenges of your time or keep whining about it BTW which one you dey now, LP, ADC, NDC or IPOB |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by raumdeuter: 4:58pm On May 06 |
Theflint1:1350 /liter is as a result of many things, No more subsidy which was no longer sustainable plus the war going on which raised global oil prices |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Theflint1(m): 5:15pm On May 06 |
GloriousGbola:Still waiting for your explanation on why Charlie Boy deserves cancellation meanwhile you refuse to cancel Tinubu, even though according to your logic both men haven't spent time in prison. |

raumdeuter:Is this your current position? ![]() |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by raumdeuter: 5:36pm On May 06 |
Theflint1:That has always been my position. I didnt cry about them bringing back govt job and official car upon graduation or serving chicken to Uni students in my time like they did for those in the 60s and 70s |

BlueRayDick:I really worry about him because like you said, he has been involved in 3 fights over the last year or there about, which is even more fights than most professional boxers during that same period. Someone needs to get to him and stop him from further fights because he is messing with CTE and other long term neurological issues. |

| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by GloriousGbola: 7:22pm On May 06 |
abduleez1:This plan definitely means that power will soon be deregulated. Nigeria's power problem is pricing. Just as Dangote did not build a refinery out of altruism, he is not going to build a billion naira power plant to sell below market rate at a loss. |

GloriousGbola:Looks like the man may be the one to help us see steady electricity in our lifetime just as he is the one to remove fuel scarcity in our lifetime. Personally I had since concluded I would not see steady light in my lifetime in Nigeria but this gives hope that perhaps in a decade or two it may happen and I can enjoy my seventies if death tarries. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by GloriousGbola: 7:36pm On May 06 |
DeepSight:Chief I hope you are also ready to pay 3 to 4 times what you are paying now - because that is what will happen. As the FG owed NNPC trillions, they also owe the gencos trillions. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by DeepSight(m): 7:38pm On May 06 |
GloriousGbola:It may increase but I doubt by four times. |

TemporaryHansel:I've lost count of the number of US opposition lawmakers I've seen taking Trump to the cleaners within the past few days alone.. Them wan insult craze cormot him body. I've never heard of a tyrant being this merciful before oh. They say he's the second coming of Hitler, the final tyrant and yet he lets all these slide by. Na the Nigerians wey dey follow call am Hitler and tyrant dey muzz me pass, our own Tinubu here that is not a tyrant, can any sitting lawmaker dare insult him brazenly the way those opposition lawmakers in the US are doing to Trump? DSS/EFCC/ICPC/NPF will lock up the lawmaker within 24 hours of such posts and throw away the keys in the Atlantic ocean and nothing will happen. Yet Tinubu isn't labelled a tyrant. I think it's overfeeding that is worrying most of these Democrats, whether the ones in America or their Nigeria branch. There's one lady here who lives in the US who claims women no longer have rights in the US because of Trump, the funny thing is that where she hails from in Nigeria, women aren't allowed to inherit properties there, this is just one out of many things I can point out, but I guess that is fair to her. ![]() If Nigeria women can have only 30% of the kinda rights/freedom enjoyed by women in the US, I'm sure they'd be more happy. These people should try fvcking with actual tyrants and see if they'd be able to tell the tale, but like I said before, they'd never do that because they're probably self aware enough to know they're being delusional and it ends there. |

GloriousGbola:Yep... Succinctly put. This signals the promise that full deregulation is incoming. Earlier today before I even came across this news I saw an article saying the federal government was reducing electricity subsidy by #17 naira per kWh. And I became suspicious what's cooking. 20GW of electricity that's ballsy. Dangote already gave the hint months back that he was going into electricity, mining and potash fertilizers alongside his $100bn revenue for the group by 2030. I like his ambitions. He dares to dream. And he doesn't keep his dreams remaining in the dreamworld. What I don't know is how many thousand MW is he producing in Nigeria. No full details yet. Cos Dangote has been singing a Pan African industrial revolution and his recent deals has signalled that. So I don't know if the electricity plan is only for Nigeria or he plans production in other African countries just like he's building a massive fertiliser plant for Ethiopia and recently proposed a similar giant refinery for East Africans. A step in the right direction. Like I've been telling my friends and relations that Nigeria can't really enjoy the stable or uninterrupted power supply we always dream about cos we don't actually pay well or cost reflective tariffs for the power we consume. So these private companies won't invest in it despite it being a goldmine of opportunity. How Dangote plans of achieving this yet, I don't know the full details but it's good for nation building. He'll really need to invest heavily because it's not only about building the power plant(s), what is the wheeling capacity in the transmission/national grid. Massive upgrades and investment in which the pace looks too slow to cope with even a 10,000MW injection into the power grid. Anyways, power or energy should actually be what the government should have focused on regarding infrastructure and economy than this several trillion naira spend on railways and the highly controversial Lagos- Calabar Coastal Road. Power could easily transform this economy I'm ways no one imagine. This is the kinda deals I love hearing or seeing.... Hopefully his comrade in BUA, Abdul Samad Rabiu who became Africa's second richest man earlier today would also join Dangote in competition in this field just like his upcoming refinery. |

Nawa oh I am hearing that PitStop Village, a premium gym in Ikoyi, charges its members 6 million Naira per year!!😮💨🤯 Take note that they don’t have daily, weekly, or monthly subs; they only have an annual membership. To burst your brain further, the gym charges a family 10 million Naira for the same year 🤣😂😂😅 |
