codemaniacs:If oil is that huge, why is it forming thirteen percent of government revenue today? Even as the country is not yet collecting PIT? Oil is insignificant as a portion of Nigeria's GDP. |

Ibadanfarmroad:Oga, do you live or have you lived in Lagos before?. Abi you just dey make noise from your village?. The population of Isolo/Oshodi is predorminantly Igbo. |

lawani:That's what they want you to think. Oil is 96% of Nigeria's revenue. |

Call it ethnic considerations or bias.. Today in Nigeria, almost every Ibo man wants an Ibo even when they call the country a zoo. So I wonder how a Yoruba become a bigot when even the Hausa man wants a fellow northerner. Enough of the gaslighting... Anybody wey no gree say Lagos na Yoruba land, thunder faya dem |

esnbrutality:When you do things, put yourself in the shoes. You have a Yoruba man representing a constituency in one of your eastern states and he wants to send 27 people on overseas training and then all he could send are 24 people from Oyo State and only 3 from your own state. What would you say. Answer this question truthfully. |

ElevationD:if SE people hold political positions in SW then it shows they are expansionists because they already have their own states in the SE that are far richer than Lagos state due to crude oil, gas and coal deposits there and it means the SW people have zero economic sense. it also shows that they will exclude the SW people from benefits that should go to SW people and stabilize SW families and this will eventually lead to extreme poverty among SW people... |

Irony1:Are you kidding me? Do you even know the meaning of the word "cognitive reasoning"? The fact that you resorted to insults speaks to your level of understanding of the subject matter. So somebody from the east representing a federal constituency in OSHODI Lagos State for that matter is prioritizing his tribes men over other nationals and we should not talk? You want to tell me that oshodi is dominated by the igbos? Can other nationals try this in your State without some level of backlash? So in the whole of OSHODI only two (2) Yorubas are interested in getting trained in China? A country where a lot of people are looking to leave for better opportunities ?Why the remaining 8 or so must igbos , no other tribe like the calabars, the deltans, do business in OSHODI, only the igbos do business there? Do you hear yourself talk? Does that make sense to you? You people would be complaining of equity, justice and fairness but when the opportunity of being equitable, fair, you give foolish excuses and now you want insult me with your cognitive reasoning rhetoric. |

ottersberger:hahaha, oga I have a business at oshodi and my two kids were given birth to at arena market. I repeat, the Igbo population in oshodi should be 10 to 20 percent at the highest. |

Kalulu44:If that can only happen in Lagos at least Lagos is still an indigenous yoruba state so they have tried can you allow that in any of your state?I Know of 2 Hausa men who contested in Ebonyi state these guys were born, bred, educated and have invested in that state(ebonyi) yet I saw how they were ridiculed and jeered at and they were eventually not voted for the story was posted here on front page like 2015 or 2016. You people only lament when you aren't the ones doing the dominations! Because I saw you mentioning investment up there na people wey no know una your matter go dey surprise anyway those people are gonna lurrn the hard way. |

ultraviolet27:Apart from this my comments, go to the original post and see my main comments and how I lambasted my people. Secondly if you meet me face to face, and they ask you to guess the tribe I am, you will definitely say Yoruba. I don't look, behave and act like the average Igbo man, and I said it plainly that what the Mr Okey did was wrong. So don't lump me up among the undoings of the Igbo tribe. But I will still say it again, it was accepted in Lagos bcus it's a liberal state. Tell me any other Yoruba states it has happened and I will give you one example from the east |

Nigerian constitution does not list "indigenous" as criteria to register as a voter or stand for election as a candidate. Wherever you reside, work, do business and pay tax, you can register to vote and stand for election there. Do you gerrit sir? By the way, are the following indigenes of Lagos? 1. Bola Ahmed Tinubu 2. Olamilekan Adeola 3. Rauf Aregbesola Also please study the attached to further educate yourself on eligibility to vote and stand elections in Nigeria. seunmsg:

I wonder why my Yorubas people are like this.. Enugu person can't contest in Anambra yet noone is talking about it. Why should Yorubas allow non-Yorubas gaslight us into surrendering our heritage and birthright in this British-made country called Nigeria. Just look at this level of injustice on Yoruba nation. |

flokii:You are also being given ten when your population and tax paid say you deserve 25 at the center and VAT and CIT are being taken from Yoruba land to feed other places not to talk of customs revenue and remember that it is also a thankless job. Other people indulge in activities like trading and farming that are not VATable and you have to bear the burden for everyone and if everyone is paying the tax they should pay then sharing formula still says the Yoruba will get less compared to their population |

Lol I am not from SW. Please how do you know? Most of your writeups are incorrect. I am not sure you check the facts ...so you just make assumptions. Do you know Crude and Gas deposits are in SW? Fact check me codemaniacs: |

lawani:I am ashamed of all the Professors in Yorubaland.. if not for Awolowo that pushed for free education majority of them benefitted from, maybe now they'd have been almajiris begging for alms on the streets. These guys got educated, but still act like illiterates.. why can't they step up and take charge of affairs in South West to ensure Yorubas heritage and culture are well preserved.. For God sake why?? |

codemaniacs:So why did you not tell your tribes forefathers to reject the idea of fusing them together with other tribes to form Nigeria at independence? If you cry poverty, then know that it is a function of partying while others are working. It is a function of drinking while others are working. Who do you want to blame? Those who work hard to earn their living, or those who knock on the doors of the hardworking beg for money, matches, maggie cubes, pepper, etc? |

codemaniacs:Again you bring the stale lies of 1966. If truly it was what made them poor why is it that base do the context of the topic, you immediately said SE is rich? Bros stop contradicting yourself and on the issue of who destroyed regionalism. It is another lie from you because at the time of Ironsi's death we still had regional government and each military governor of the regions still controlled their resources. Gowon destroyed regionalism by creating states and centraliaing the revenues. |
