By the time they are done with this boy, he will never put his fat, black lips near a microphone again. Moniepoint took Opay to court for poaching their staff. The same Moniepoint took a citizen to court for giving bad reviews about their company. Na the boy head don catch them now. |

Public speaking is a skill because if you don't master it, you'd end up saying stuff that is only meant for friends hangout. Many of us say many things privately, sometimes things neighbors must not hear us saying. |

Once they start to mention "talents", just know they are out to cheat. Same goes for the Westerners that always request for "talents". |

CodeTemplar:The sad part is many wouldn't mind to jump on such offers if there's an opening and we now wonder why those the employers in Nigeria think less of their staff. Honestly, all is not well in Nigeria. |

Tosin Eniolorunda is right . This generation is too distracted and lazy. I employ too and I can tell you that I have never seen an unserious generation like this one . That said , I know the company pays very well. They DON’T have a choice but to pay well. They employ the best . Imagine a Nigerian company competing with a chinese company . Keyword -competing . They must pay and pay well to stay alive. Let’s not forget too that Moniepoint is a IT company on a global stage . The rate the world opens doors to IT professionals is crazy . Most great IT guys I know have left the country because first world countries are looking for them . So an IT guy with experience and opportunities abroad will stay for small money in Moniepoint ? Hell no |

| Re: Is This What Moniepoint Pays As Salary? by Rossty(f): 7:45pm On May 07 |
Outdated or current... No fintech employee should earn that low, unless it's a security personnel. Moniepoint sorry you'll only get local champs... We working remotely and earning more than this peanut am seeing in that offer letter. So go find global talent for India 🇮🇳 |

Even content creators without waec certificate can earn double or more of that in a month. Arrant rubbish and gibberish from the moniepiont ceo |

Lasy people will always term such statements as insults instead of building themselves to a level they can't be rejected or brush aside... Meanwhile, if you invest in training many of them, once they are able to work successfully with your applications, they will resign! |

Politicstoday:This is not true, nevertheless, the organization is not paying its Nigerian staff global standard salary, so he doesn't have the moral right to request for global level input. I mean, who in their right mind will apply for a role at moniepoint when you can work for Turin and earn $3k upwards monthly? The problem is, he's not paying enough to attract the right talents in Nigeria. We software engineers know how much most companies pay, so forget that rubbish. |

CodeTemplar:No state in the US pay as low as $6 hourly in 2026. The moniepoint guy is a fuuul. They pay their foreign staff high wages, but they'll be expecting senior software engineer in Nigeria to apply for a job that pays less than a million naira. No be juju be that? |
| Re: Is This What Moniepoint Pays As Salary? by DeOTR: 8:06pm On May 07 |
casualobserver:In software engineering world, no school leaver can land a QA job. You can't even apply if you can't write automation scripts. You need to have some level of competency to be a QA engineer. These are the people that verify work done by software engineers. It's not rice and beans. Where I work, common client experience earn at least 500k monthly. We have more staff strength than moniepoint and we serve a global client, but don't find it difficult to fill any role. |

| Re: Is This What Moniepoint Pays As Salary? by geoworldedu: 8:08pm On May 07 |
If the money in my account 1 week to month end remains what he pays his QA monthly, I will be so scared and worried. Like what can I do with 150k as a family man for one week? |
| Re: Is This What Moniepoint Pays As Salary? by DeOTR: 8:09pm On May 07 |
miketayo:You're going too far referencing abroad. In this same Nigeria, QA engineers earn as much as software engineers |
| Re: Is This What Moniepoint Pays As Salary? by Angelfrost(m): 8:09pm On May 07 |
Well... The loudest are mostly the emptiest. So, no surprises here. CEOs that treat their staff well don't make noise online. |
| Re: Is This What Moniepoint Pays As Salary? by Angelfrost(m): 8:13pm On May 07 |
miketayo:Any serious freelancer working from home in Nigeria makes 500 to 750k monthly, and you won't see their employers or clients coming online to say Nigerians are not employable. Empty vessels like Moniepoint CEO make needless and unnecessary noise online. |

Nigeria is a place where anybody can say anything to trend. The last time I checked Moniepoint or whatever it is called cannot square up in any way with the multinational banks in the country ... Yet the leaders of those big financial institutions have not come out to make that kind of careless statement... You want international standard but you are paying rubbish as salary... |

casualobserver:Q. A in the bank must be graduate preferably chartered accountants. They detect frauds from staff and recommend staff for disciplinary actions up to sack. In many banks they must be full staff not contract staff and salary starts around half a million for starters. Banks usually employ experienced staff for this role. |
