I have been noticing this thing right from my childhood days. Why do cooked food especially soups gets sweeter and better the next day after been re-heated or rewarm in our local palance? Growing up, my favorite soup till date is Egusi soup. I grudgingly eat any draw soups be it okro, ogbono on the first day it's cooked. But when it's warmed the next day, it tastes different and better, and I always don't wish for it to finish. . Foodies in the house, what say you or you haven't taken noticed of it? N.B: Spaghetti or Noodles is the worst food to eat when cold True or False? |

This is just how I am: I need my food fresh. I hate reheating meals and have made it a habit to finish whatever is cooked that same day—stew is the only thing I can really tolerate the next day. If I have to eat reheated jollof or beans, I’ll take just enough to keep my energy up, but I definitely won’t enjoy it. On the other hand, if you really want to punish me, just serve me cold noodles or spaghetti and beans (hot or cold). Our quarrel could last for weeks. |
