Meanwhile, Funsho Doherty don outsmart Gbadebo go grab NDC. Nice move

I see Seyi losing out on all fronts if he doesn't align with Abuja at Federal level.
The window of alignment is about to shut for good. If he has aligned earlier he wuld have been in good stand and control the Oyo APC

......Seyi's candidate will win Oyo but likely to do a Fubara though. Meanwhile, Seyi ain't Wike, thus his political relevance may come to an end before the next cycle.
I actually like Seyis candidate, He was an APC guy till last December. Na Accountant from OAU as well like Zach and Adelabu

He has some points but he 4ck up with his final submission.

The thing is all these tech companies need to start giving youngings chance into mentorship/internship roles where they can learn and grow then transition into senior roles in the future.

His approach of looking for ready-made talents to fill senior roles will not work. Blaming Nigerian education system, Yahoo Yahoo and youth's laziness for his inability to fill that senior role will not work at all.

There's a reason why the big 4's , oil companies, Banks and other financial services firms recruit graduate trainees every year to give smart fresh graduates a chance to learn, grow and transition into whatever career path the organizations figure they will excel based on their performance in the graduate trainee programs.

There's nothing like unemployability of Nigerian graduates. He should give them the required trainings, develop talents for the future and see if he won't see those same youth flying high in the nearest future. Shebi the current GMD of Zenith bank joined the bank as a fresh graduate during her NYSC, look at her today.

Let Tosin too invest in fresh graduates instead of looking for ready-made talents wey don japa go saner climes to live where there is security and peace of mind
You get what you pay for simple,. In the same Nigerian labor market Shell, Chevron McKinsey, KPMG PwC Microsoft dey get top talents

You cant be offering meager pay and expect premium talents. You cant be paying Elche salary an expect Barcelona talents

That 160k na before deductions, after deduction like tax, benefit maybe na 120K. Some drivers dey earn pass that

That 1.9 na wetin some dey earn per month for similar roles

The same guy fit dey "appreciate IG baddie" with 500k for one night like our other Tech CEO wey just press 500k for babe wey he never begin mentor sef

Exactly!

Some of those companies spend resources to train and build talents to their perfection. The resources people like Tosin would not spend but be expecting to jam top talent that will be crushing on their company.

A former colleague told me about a friend of his wife. The guy made a first class in maths and stats , very sharp guy. He joined Axa Mansard as a graduate trainee.

Axa being a global company sent him to Axa's head office in Paris, France where he was undergoing training as an actuary and getting paid in Euros. When the guy came back to Nigeria after about 2 years, he moved like 6 steps at once in cadre. The guy was so loaded that they had no choice but to move him up the ladder He instantly became one of the top decision makers in the Nigerian office.

They weren't going around looking for ready-made talent to fill a senior role, they made him into one.

Let's assume for a moment that Tinubu loses the presidential election (Just an assumption).

Do you think this outcome will affect the gubernatorial election on the next Saturday?

I think it will affect the outcome of some APC states

There are even ready made talents in Naija, Tosin wey dey talk, No be OAU he go? Was he the best student in his class? Abi those better than him in OAU no dey labor market

When I was watching the inter school quiz, My belle just dey sweet to see young smart guys The Quayum guy me and MorataFc dey talk about was already active in Nigerian quiz as far back as 2019 when he was still in Secondary school, He is currently on 4.87 CGPA will you say that is not a talent?

I was hoping some companies as part of recruitment jump on these guys and offer them employment and right of refusal to graduate trainees. There is no guy on that stage that is not a super material that any company in the wrld wont be blessed to have. I know Procter & Gamble used to go to Ife and pack first lass students not sure if they still do. Na why Zach Adedeji after his OAU first class enter P&G

To your point, In my time when graduating, some MNC came to our school to recruit, the guy who was first in my school joined PwC now with Exxon over 20yrs as a senior manager in South America. I have classmates now who are Senior managers all over the world at organizations like Schlum, Exxon, Aramco Shell Partners at Consulting firms. If I begin show you linkedin profile of guys we graduated together and where they now work or have worked. So if you are not seeing smart people to fill spots its your own problem

Even as much as we say yahoo, hookup culture has damaged our society, there are still many young people who are still sharp and focused who will deliver for you at any level globally
Gbola said he is running a global org like say na one man biz. Its true. I worked with a Naija One man biz guy over 10yrs ago, He handled hiring guys in Naija for a project and I said.
1. pay them well, and
2 their pay must not go beyond 30th of every month.
He was like I am using spoiling them, this is not America, there are many people who will do the job for less, He told me to let him manage in his style paying them less, pricing them like tomatoes, what we discovered is after training, the smart ones left, and we had a huge turnover. We couldnt keep our talents. I now told him there is a reason top organization pay top money to retain talents, Its not because they like employees or they are charities

He dey use 160k per month to find top talent, Like I said, Make he dey use Elche salary dey find Yamal level players. E go tay for there

Yes it will. People will follow the flood. Very few Nigerian politician want to play opposition
That is why OBJ planned for presidential election to come before state. So that you retain governors loyalty i.e if you deliver for me in presidential I will deliver for you in guber. If he had allowed guber before presidency, some governors after winning their own will turn around and betray the president
