NERD CLEARANCE SLIP

Let me explain it to those who don’t know yet. This explanation is for those who registered in March and April

NERD is NATIONAL EDUCATION REPOSITORY DATABANK
A w-ebs-ite owned by Nigeria Government for every graduate to upload their final year project

It is a way of having your project online so others can make use of it in their future project too. And it’s mandatory for all graduate from every institution going for service too

It was a policy that was implemented last year October. And it took immediate effect

However, the NYSC management reached an agreement with NERD management that they should exempt Batch C 2025 and Batch A 2026 because it’s too sudden. They need to put things in place to ensure they can verify Corpers going to camp and that will start with Batch B

The waiver for the NERD ended in Batch A stream 2. The implementation starts in Batch B stream 1. Therefore it is mandatory for you to upload your project on the NERD PORTAL and get the clearance slip .You will then take the clearance slip with you to camp

This affect everyone that will be serving in Batch B stream 1. Including those that went to camp but could not be registered due to one or two

Or if you were posted and you didn’t go to camp.

Batch B is Batch B

Dear Batch B PCM,

No call up number is released yet for PCM that registered in March and April

All call up number will be released at appropriate time by the NYSC management.

PCM should always check their dashboard for possible errors on their details so as to correct them earlier enough when their is still time.

Name correction is available on the portal dashboard now for those that have name spelling error

DOB change is also available on the dashboard for those with age discrepancies and wish to correct it.

You cannot apply for DOB (Date of Birth) Correction after you have been documented in CAMP.

Your Graduation Date, Date of Birth and Course of Study will appear on your Certificate of National Service - ensure they are corrected before documentation in CAMP.

Update for Batch B stream 1 deployment

1. Batch B stream 1 camping will start on the 10th of June and end on 30th of June.
2. ⁠Call up number will be out anytime from now.
3. ⁠Note that not all those that registered in March and April may be deployed due to camp capacity.
4. ⁠All PCM are adviced to ensure they get their original statement of result or school certificate as they prepare for their upcoming camping.
5. ⁠Be informed that NERD clearance slip is compulsory for Batch B stream 1 PCM for their camp registration. If you are yet to get yours, do that now with an accredited NERD agent.

The most useless policy ever.

If you are a guy, make sure you lash all the girls you can during your service, you ll thank me later.
Your life will get so serious after service that puna no go hungry you... unless if you turn out to be unproductive... no productive person put women first after service...so enjoy my brother...lash them silly

When will those who registered on the first day of the April supplementary registration get call-up number?

When will April get theirs ?

Update as at 22nd May

1. B1 camp opens on the 10th of June, 2026
2. ⁠NYSC has released call up number for Batch B1 PCM on the 21st of May.
3. ⁠Those yet to get call up number will get in Batch B2 coming up in the future date.
4. ⁠B1 call up letter is coming out on the 8th of June.
5. ⁠Camp registration will take place for 2 days, from 10th to 12th of June.
6. ⁠Those with call up number can start to prepare for camping. June 10th will soon be here.
7. ⁠Posting is done randomly and no one can predict where he or she will be posted to, prepare your mind as though you’d be posted to the farthest state from your place of residence. So if you are in Lagos, rivers or Delta, you can be checking out Sokoto, Jigawa or Borno and if vis a vis.
8. ⁠Prepare your documents, your original statement of result or certificate is cumpulsory.
9. ⁠It’s raining season, you may want to get a white cardigan to avoid catching cold in camp environment

NYSC did a lot of alignment in this their Batch B stream 1 mobilization

And all are in line to ensure discipline is imbibed and procrastination is reduced among PCM

1. Some March got call up number randomly in line with deployment modalities.
2. Some March PCM will get their call up number in B2 coming up in future date.
3. All April PCM didn't get call up number yet, indicating fact that they registered last and deserve to be mobilised accordingly.
4. PCM that registered in November and didn't go to camp in A1 and were not deployed in A2 as punishment were shifted to B1 and will be going to camp with March PCM that were mobilised.
5. A2 PCM that were posted to camp last month but didn't register in camp are not shifted to Batch B meaning they won't be mobilised in B1, instead they will wait till B2.
6. Therefore any PCM in B1 that will be posted to any state and does not go to the state or didn't register in camp Wil be shifted to C1 instead of B2.

Steps to apply for Incamp relocation on your dashboard

1. Wait for NYSC management to announce relocation opening date. It will be made public for 3 days in the second week in camp.

It is very common to hear rumors and misleading information about portal opening.

2. ⁠You have three {3} option to apply with, health reason, marital status (female only) and insecurity.

3. ⁠To apply based on your poor Health, you need your medical report, the medical report should be in a picture format and should not be more than *200 kilobytes*

4. ⁠To apply based on marital status, you will need your marriage certificate, Domicile letter, newspaper change of name, husband ID card, your O level result and utility bill.. All in picture format and should be 200 kilobytes each.

5. ⁠If you are applying using insecurity, note it applies to only state NYSC consider unsafe due to security challenges in those state, you should find out those few state it's applicable to.

6. ⁠When portal officially opens, go ahead and access your dashboard, click on relocation button and choose reason for applying. Then upload documents applicable to the category.

7. ⁠Choose the state you want to relocate to. However note you can't choose Lagos, Abuja, state of origin and state you attended higher institution if you are using insecurity or health reason.

8. ⁠Fill out the description to explain your reason for applying for relocation.

9. ⁠After proper filling the options mentioned above, check for errors and spelling errors.

10. ⁠Submit your request after proper vetting and wait for 12th of May to check if your application was approved.
