It’s getting scary 😨 o. But wait! If the right wing is coming into power, how will it get worse? Isn’t it supposed to get better with the right people?
In politics there is thing called right and left wing... Right wing are more conservative and left are more liberal... Left are more open to any and everything... Right wing are more closed off...

None is best. So long as it meets the 30k euro threshold. I personally use Allianz

Good evening all. Please when applying for a visit to the Schengen area primarily to attend a conference, is it appropriate to state that after the conference i would like to tour other nearby countries for a week?
Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by mrbourdillon: 11:38am On May 06
No. You will create unnecessary doubt and confusion in the mind of the visa officer.

Just prepare your entire application based on visiting just one country which should be country you will be spending most of your time in. When you get the visa you can move as you like within Schengen territory.

Hello House

I applied 18th March. Have really been worried until I began following the thread and seeing people's messages on the delay.

Finally, I received a message this evening to come pick up my passport. So will go tomorrow or next.

Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by mrbourdillon:
Has anyone successfully completed their appointment at TLS after booking the appointment with a slightly inaccurate passport number (eg using letter O instead of number 0)? Will they allow me correct it during my appointment ?

The TLS site does not allow me use my correct passport number because it is already tied to an old/existing unsubmitted application. The website won’t let me delete it myself. I have already called TLS multiple times in the past 2 weeks to delete it from their end and they keep saying that I should call back, that their system is down

From past experiences, they insist on you booking another appointment with your correct passport number; no O for 0 allowed. Unless that has changed very recently.

The visa was denied.
I wont consider myself a frequent flyer but i have travel history. I have traveled to France, Netherlands, Scotland and England.

Reason given for the denial was "justification for the purpose and conditions of intended stay was not provided".

The visa was to attend a one week annual KBS conference in Lithuania fully funded by the conference organizers. The same France embassy gave me a one week visa to attend the same conference last year but in a different country. They rotate the host country annually. Last year, I attended the conference and came back home. So i was wondering why the denial, this time around even when it's only one week visa i applied for.

I wrote a very detailed cover letter and provided all necessary documents about the conference, my presentation, full funding from the organizers, banks statements, introduction from my work place, leave letter from work, my home ties, flight reservation, travel insurance, hotel reservation, my one week itinerary (from hotel to conference venue) etc literally everything i felt they would need to make a positive decision.

They gave me the option to appeal. A tls staff mentioned they changed staff and advised that maybe I should apply again instead of appealing which will take long. But no need to be wasting money and time when the conference starts on June 1 and my travel date was to be 30 May.

I was shaa happy that the people they attended to before me got their visas. The smiles on their faces as they opened their passport and saw their visas made my day.

Wishing you all the best in yours.

This is exactly what I said in previous post... They changed staff and they also reduced staff.. The embassy is currently in the worst situation it has ever been... From right-wing taking power to the absolute racist behavior of the current staffs...

Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Lekan2348: 4:57am On May 09
Schengen visa is like that. You’re just unfortunate to have the wrong person review your application and at the wrong time (maybe he or she was in a bad mood.

Happened to my friend. The same application I used to get 6 months visa. Copied and pasted for my friend and he was denied. These things happen. Next time just apply for simple things like tourist visa etc.

I said this before... People underestimate the amount of luck that comes with getting a visa approved.... Luck is like 90% of it... I seen it and gone through it and been part of it...

If it's for PoF, you have to get it from the bank. There are some necessary information added.

If you use GTBANK you download an account statement specifically for Visa Application... Because it is automatically stamped...

Hi 👋 all,

After submitting application on Campus France (EEF), how long does it take for them to respond especially when you already gained admission without them?

I had various doubts when i was applying for my French visa. I didn't use any agent, got my travel insurance from AXA Mansard through the help of a cool guy for less than15K cos cover period was one week. Got dummy ticketfrom wakanow also .My visa came out at exactly 3 weeks. I made sure to add Adron land allocation with current valuation from their website. And it was my first time schengen although i have a current UK visa

You don’t have to get it from the bank. I’ve applied for French visa twice and gotten approved twice. My bank statement was from my app. Zenith bank, zenith bank usd and PROVIDUS bank. Even my flight confirmation was not real. I literally used photoshop to edit one old real Qatar airways ticket from 2023 flight to usa.

Don’t pressure yourself but just know that approval is not dependent on getting bank statement from your bank or paying for your flight in advance

Edakun, how do you book an appointment for France biometrics as a frequent traveler? Tls application page filled, but there are no available dates for the next few months. Is walk-in allowed for frequent travelers?
