Though I don't think Mr. Obi can win next year or RMK in 2031, a party of political rebels, anti establishment figures to shake the tree of democracy in Nigeria is a breath of fresh air.

He has made serious mistake with all these moves. He is helping Tinubu continue stay in power.

Mark my word PO cannot get upto what he got in last election around 7M. Politics is not done this especially at national level. You need serious calculation and patient and the ñumber to upset the incumbent president.

"The “president-elect” saw in Obi's presidential bid, a good chance to reduce the winning chances of the presidential candidate of the PDP, Atiku Abubakar.

"What Peter Obi didn't know is much more that what he knows, he started collecting campaign funds from Utomi, while Tinubu was giving the money to Utomi.

"This went on until Obi's presidential campaign got to a stage it went beyond target. Obi was used without him knowing," Akinwale said after announcing his departure from the party.

Obi defected to the LP after resigning his membership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and also withdrawing from the presidential race under the party.

Well that is the sad reality of our time. This zoning thing that has our democracy fighting with one hand tied behind it's back.

We have just wasted 8 years with th Buhari government and another 4 years is going down the drain. To have a new person for just four just because of zoning is the tragedy of our time.

Anyway if they intend to work closely their kind of achievement can be unique and perhaps unheard off in our contemporary time. That for a President to serve for four years then revert to becoming a vice president after that.

But once again like my earlier post. If this thing goes through Obi can serve for four and then nominate a ranking member of his movement to serve as Vice in 2031.

All these are long shots and sort of day dreaming. I doubt if Nigeria is ready for the kind of change we require. Whatever has held this country down is very much active.
