One thing I give credit to our players yesterday for when the West Ham ball hit the net following the infringement on Raya; none of our players sat on the floor in despair. None of them was banging his fist on the floor nor sank to their knees to wallow in self pity. Everyone was out there protesting the foul and trying to get an audience with the ref. This team has really grown mentally compared to our team in the past years. |

iamoyindamola:I’d bench him and start Odegaard the rest of the season. Eze needs a full preseason with us more than any other player on that roster. I think the benching may have reset Odegaard’s head because he came in and was direct. Before the goal though, I nearly run mad with the rubbish they were doing on the right side. Like 4 players just gathered and were passing amongst themselves. After final whistle, I was exhausted, my family just carry glass of water with ice and towel come give me. I don’t know how I will watch the rest of the games because this tension too much for just one club! |

Like play like play, we will win this league with zero red card awarded to any arsenal player in the EPL this season. I also don't think we've conceded any penalty in the EPL this season. We've really come a long way with discipline in this team. Whoever is responsible for that deserves a big kudos. As much as rival fans wail about dark arts, we are actually big on discipline this season. We might as well get a fair play award created for us for winning the league with a very impressive disciplinary record. |

iamoyindamola:The joy that followed the stress of that match was hard to contain. That match be like torture, it felt like how man city fans must have felt in that their final day match that Aguero scored the winning goal that won their first EPL in this era. |

iamoyindamola:When my wife was asking if a draw would still keep our title hopes alive, I told her it won't o. We should just forget the trophy because I am very sure city will best us on goal difference; they won't hesitate to beat palace , Bournemouth and Villa 5-0 each. That gift handed to us by Everton must be protected with the last drop of our player's blood. |

With the way everybody dey disturb pikin yesterday during this Westham game, if they don't grow up and become Arsenal fans like their papa, wahala go dey o😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Make one come home from Uni dey rock Chelsea or Barca jersey or Madrid and is shouting Hala Madrid while you're watching Dowman captaining Arsenal😂😂😂😂😂😂 Yesterday's game was mentality exhausting as that Bournemouth game wey Nelson do last minute volley. Make we tok true, between the Nelson moment vs Trossard moment, which one really touch your chest like lorry tyre?😹😹 |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by BlueRayDick: 4:32pm On May 11 |
daveP:Yesterday's Trossard goal was everything. It was the goal that silenced our enemies and covered our shame. The fact that Odegaard that has been poor all season actually danced through West Ham's defence that has been rock solid all game and then he cooly laid the pass on to Trossard that was waiting patiently really touch my chest. It just erased all the frustration that has built up in my chest up till that moment. I don't think there will be any goal that will be as important as that in a long time. Maybe our final goal that clinches us the UCL may be more important sha. That goal yesterday was just special. It had the hand of Odegaard, Havertz and Trossard all of whom have not been in great form this season; they weren't the players one would've thought will save our title hopes. |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Roland17(m): 4:33pm On May 11 |
daveP:Naaaaa...Yesterday's nearly off me. I was sweating, I can't remember the last time I sat down watching our match. Nelson's moment was just one, the goal..Yesterday's had Raya's incredible save, Trossard scoring and then Gabu's block before the VAR! That was too much suffering for 3 points. |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by iamoyindamola(m): 5:21pm On May 11 |
daveP:Trossard goal will be remembered because it's the goal that will eventually win us the title I read apari is planning to rest players because of fa cup final, no wonder he supported West ham because that's his last hope |

Roland17:That Gabu block was surprising cause I thought the ball is already at the back of the net. When I saw his leg, I shouted my voice almost cracked ![]() Arsenal is really a team filled with emotional rollercoaster |

BlueRayDick:Stubborn westham backline. 3 still follow Odegaard just after Kai opened space by running in. We really need the old Odegaard in the UCL final. Dunno why Eze dey do off and off. Abi e like UCL pass epl ni? |

iamoyindamola:Chelsea fans full our viewing centre. They jubilated the Westham goal asif na the goal that will make them play Uefa next season. Their season is so sad they have to look for happiness elsewhere 😝😝😝😝 I agree for the Trossard one. Especially with how many games left |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by iamoyindamola(m): 7:10pm On May 11 |
daveP:That's the issue with the deluded fans Since they can't match us they have to hioe for our downfall Club way go relegate next season |

iamoyindamola:Very useless fanbase. I had to leave the viewing centre immediately after the first half and go watch the second half at home because of their hatred towards Arsenal. |

On Gyokeres, I'm truly impressed. I've been criticizing him for a while mainly because of two reasons - not really holding the attack as he should and not showing fights he's known for. Yea! His mentality is part of the reason he was signed. His last two games has shown great improvement. I was worried about whether he would feel the fatigue after the ATM match but when I saw him running around the pitch, chasing the West Ham defenders.. Omo, I clapped. |

mostob:That yesterday match was just too tasking emotionally. I am glad we didn't play west ham as the last game of the season that could guarantee us being crowned champion. I'm not sure if our players wouldn't have collapse under the pressure that comes with the game. |

mostob:Na true o. That ego thing dey most of them wey comot Crystal Palace. Their forwards. Omo😂 Olise own dey do like humility sometimes. I no dey swallow that narrative. But Enrique and his video analysts are tight as glue mehn. Cos.... Make Eze sha gbera. We need one screamer from him. Then Martinelli can do his solo run to go score and wrap it all up in the dying minute. E go too sweet. |
