Hey, major update; I believe in stories now. I now believe stories can be told in wrestling. But, there's a catch. I'll probably talk about this in toto tomorrow.

so about this. I'll summarise. I believe if it's an equal combination of sports and entertainment, they can't be stories except just a simple 'good guy Vs bad guy' situation, but if entertainment is more emphasized (like western wrestling) it can be storied. Not a full blown movie story, but just enough to sell a match. The stories are created from extreme possibilities in a sport context. That being said a lot of stories in wrestling make no sense, like ginger bread man. Heck, when you see 2 guys fighting and no security in sight especially immediately, that's bad story telling. Stuffs like that.

you're absolutely correct I don't watch the show, for reasons like that. And I don't need to watch the show to know the funeral of a ginger bread man isn't entertaining for a sport-themed show. Or does WWE now operate in fiction and fantasy?

I think the reason Brock is back is cos TKO won't let him retire. Especially now that they're money hungry they won't let you quit while your contract is still on, especially when you're paid a lot.

Minor complaints aside, this was a very fun, swift, and awesome showing for Raw. The crowd carried the energy most of the night and the action in the ring didn’t disappoint. Saturday Night’s Main Event looks like a pretty big show, as does Clash in Italy. Building to two shows at once isn’t always WWE’s strength but they’re pulling it off well
