Arkmanbuddy:Well your point could be valid if we are not practicing full Federalism, if Lagos and river demand for more share from vat. Then the distribution of infrastructure or facilities that enable the yield of more vat will be distributed equally in all the states. For example , the headquarters of all the multinationals companies will be sited in all the state , infrastructure such as power generation plant, seaport , airport will be equally distributed otherwise no state Senate members will vote for infrastructure growth in any other state other that their state . Even with the fact that Vat sharing is a bit balance, some Senate members still opposed some infrastructure in other region, imagine now talk of saying the sharing is now favor State or region with high infrastructure growth. The problem is just some state becomes so lazy that they can not utilize and come up will policy that will make them yield more vat, reason why some region such North is really lagging behind south East would have have the highest vat if the business owners run their business in that region, 100% of their business is outside south East and they pay vat in the state where they have and run their business. Northerners dnt have any business outside norther region, if you see any business outside it they rarely pay vat tax.... |

GoodLife4live:What else is in lagos except the monopolised ports? Allow other ports in the ss and se to function to full capacity let's see if the states there won't match the vats lagos is currently generating. |

esnbrutality:You put up Biafran separatists candidates first in Aligbo across all positions and let's see if they can win elections. Do that first before asking anyone to support Biafra. |

esnbrutality:Put your statement in your first paragraph to the test by going down the political route, we know you dare not because you will realise your agitation is a minority one. I don't hate Ndigbo, stop gaslighting. |

david102:I agree with this and good point well made. It also means you have to give kudos to the gorvenance of the state. Any of the industries can pack up and leave for another state any day but choose to stay.i know VAT is tax paid by the final consumer before some start correcting me but those consumers not directly employed by Industry are feeding off their eco system. So Kano that they claim is the business hub is remitting low and collecting high. All the Northern states. It's well with Nigeria though |

esnbrutality:The not liking me, which I doubt, is on them. Bottom line is you (dare) put Biafran separatists forward for elections to see who exactly it is that Ndigbo don't like. |

Wickedtruths:they have significant industries with Head quarters there. Rivers has many oil services companies and other related companies supporting oil and gas there. When it comes to parasites the whole Nigeria has robbed south south states since the oil boom times. Taiwo Oyedele himself explained this. But i guess you never watched any of his videos explaining the tax reforms 😂
