In 2006, Peter Obi became the shield of Northerners in Anambra.

There are many political statements, but the truth is only one and it is bitter. When we look at the history of Peter Obi's reign in Anambra State, there are real things he did to the Muslim community and Northerners that we should know:

When the tribal crisis erupted in 2006, Peter Obi showed bravery in making sure that there were no Muslims or Northerners in Anambra. He ordered special protection to the camps (barracks) and neighborhoods where Muslims live, which saved thousands of lives.

After the chaos before his tenure and during his reign, Peter Obi donated millions of naira to rebuild Onitsha and Awka mosque. Muslim leaders in the state testified that he has fulfilled every promise he made to them of repairing their places of worship.

Although he was a Christian, Peter Obi hosted Muslims (over 150 people) every year to travel to Mecca to unload the parish. This is a great step towards respecting religion beyond politics.

•The Emir of Hausawan Awka (Alhaji Garba Haruna) said: "We know what he has done for us and he has not forgotten us." ""

•Secretary of Muslims of Anambra (Barr. Mahmoud Imam) said: "It is a lie to him, Obi is a man who wants peace with everyone." ""

Peter Obi has proved that he is not racist by nominating Malam Idris, a Muslim and native of Kano State, as his security guard (ADC). This is the highest level of trust a person can give to a non-religious person.

Till today, it is the tradition of Peter Obi to visit the Muslim community in Anambra during prayer or fasting to celebrate with them and to support them. Muslim leaders in Anambra have said he is the first governor to open a public gate without checking religion.

Politics has come and gone, but justice remains. These are real evidence that can be confirmed by the mouth of Muslim leaders (Sarkin Hausa) of Anambra. If a person is just to Muslims where they are few, there is hope that he can be just to all.

The truth is that you cannot defend APC without appearing stupid.
