The EFCC was crude in their approach is this statement is true, however, you don't by your actions lead to the death of people who come to you to save their lives.

If anyone should die as a result of this needless strike, the union should be held accountable and made to pay huge compensation.

You're shutting down healthcare services which will affect hundreds of patients, some in critical conditions just because one staff who possibly or likely has dipped his hand in public funds( not verified) was whisked away, make we deh use our head for this country. I don't have any pity for any public officials harassed by security agencies as long as you also partake in siphoning public funds.

And what if there were some Asthmatic Patients were the teargas was fired, what do they think will happen to them?

Oga go and read the EFCC act section 38 (i) and (ii)...but in case you are too lazy to do that, 38(i) states that the EFCC has the power to request for any information from any agency or institution in Nigeria...then section 38(ii) talks about obstruction and lack of compliance..."...hope you have been well lectured...no wonder moniepoint CEO said you guys are unemployable 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

you speak of obstruction right, in most cases of effc raids, has there been obstruction?I'll give you a few examples, the one that took place at oau off campus at 2am some 2 years ago in which over 100 students were picked up leading to a ban on their night raids.
the one that involved that medical doctor who shot one of their operatives in self defence last year,was there an obstruction that night? the frequent raids on hotels at night just picking up people in their rooms and slapping an innocent receptionist on duty, is there obstruction too?

no sir...efcc has to get a court order to obtain such information particularly if its related to medical records. that section 38 says request, but not force an institution to produce an information, and they still have to go through the proper channel to request it...and thats through a court order granting such a request.

even then ask yourself does the efcc even follow their laid down guidelines and sections?

The overzealousness of the efcc is totally condemned, you don't need to be brutal while carrying out your arrest except if and only there is resistance resulting to attack.
Having said this,I want to appeal to the medical association to please consider the innocent citizens their strike action will affect mostly and reconsider their decision.

Mr man, I don't results to insult. Like I said, incase you didn't digest my comments, EFCC can "REQUEST" but can't "COMPEL". There's a limit of what you can get especially a medical report. Go back to google or any AI to explain vividly those sections you mentioned. It's like education report, Only the Court has absolute right to compel Educational and Health institution for complete record of an individual. The record has still not been released to EFCC and will not until the court compels the Hospital to do else the hospital management will be subjected to litigation.
No one supports crime ( and presently I have a financial case against someone at the EFCC but they still have to follow due process)

Why should a doctor release the file of a patient to the EFCC? You probably haven't heard of patient confidentiality which is a key aspect of medical ethics! Not even president tinubu can compel the records of any patient to be released to him. There are key ways that can be achieved which someone had earlier highlighted. Either the patient himself expressly gives his consent in writing for his records or report to be released, or the EFCC can explore the courts of law! So using guns or force isn't gonna make any doctor breach that principle of patient privacy and release his patient's records to you, even if his patient is a criminal except in the above instances cited.

The doctor thought he was above the law. EFCC wrote to the criminal doctor and invited the criminal doctor in a civilised way twice but he ignored it and you leave the agency no option than to use force on him. Had the criminal doctor honoured the invitation of the EFCC, he wouldn't have been arrested like a common criminal
