Too much health alarmism by medical practitioners and content creators.

Some people live with hepatitis B till old age without medication.

Many of the quack doctors don't even know how to manage a patient diagnosed with hepatitis A,B,C,E. I've seen a doctor who struggled to interpret a Viral-Load lab test. He had to browse the internet and call a female colleague before he could respond to the patient. He quickly prescribed Tenofovir without consulting with his seniors.

In the end, genetics plays a vital role in determining who will live long and who will not.

Jaundice, kernicterus etc are caused by an increase in the bile pigment Bilirubin. This could be by hepatic diseases, obstruction of bile duct or even by intravascular hemolysis not necessarily by Hepatitis Viruses. (Hepatitis must not be of viral origins). Diseases like malaria, hemoglobinopathies ( sickle cell disease) Enzymopathies ( Such as G6DP deficiency) can also cause the sclera of the eyes, the skin and even stool to take on that deep yellow/amber color.

Rather when u see your eyes and body start turning yellow then it might simply mean u have jundice due to high levels of bilirub.

Only a few numbers of people who get hepatitis actually show the yellow sign and it's in the first few months.

It's soo bad that if u test positive to hepatitis B in Nigeria ur own is finished as no company will want to employ u including banks et.

This is a disease in which over 80% of people that has it and remain chronic are HBeAg-negative meaning the diseases is dormant for life and they wont need any medication and they live their normal life but must not take alcohol
